Odd cycle with spotting

I have been TTC #1 for 6 months. I had a m/c in April (4th cycle). My cycle after the m/c was all over the place, but temps showed that I did O and AF arrived a little late but within normal expectations.

This cycle has been odd though. I normally O around CD16 - CD18. I have only just gotten a temp rise on CD22, and I spotted bright red blood this morning CD23. It is gone now, but I have never had that happen before.

Any ideas as to what is going on would be appreciated.

I believe that some women can get some midcycle spotting around the time of O due to the hormonal changes. I've never had it happen to me but someone here might have a better idea.
It might be part of your body getting itself back to normal after the m/c.

Shell - I had this a couple of cycles ago, the day after O. I put it down to a nice plumb juciy eggie being released, and a few people said the same thing to me... It has not happend again...

Thanks for your kind words gidget. I had the same thought about maybe my body was working its way through things.

Hi Shellbell,

I too have been going through the same thing for the past 3 months. We've been trying to conceive since march and my cycle has been 40 days and during these cycles I start spotting mid way through the cycle for a few days and at the same time I start to bloat and urinate more frequently until AF arrives I am currently on day 38 so AF should be arriving within days now so will see.....if anyone could shed some light to this whether I should be more concerned or it's something that happens occasionally.....going to the doctors tomorrow for b/t to see my progesterone levels.
