Question Ovulating without mucous? TMI I'm sure!

Ok, I'm at the point of my cycle that I would be ovulating - or AM ovulating - but no mucous to speak of? This is the first time that I have noticed it NOT being there, even though I have small cramps on and off every few days so I should be ovulating? I've always ovulated on day 14 of my cycle, and today is day 14..... but no mucous!!

Has this happened to anyone else? Last month I had an absolute crapload of mucous - and this month - nothing??

I don't know whether to post it here, or in the postnatal stuff - but thought I would get more answers here. I have no idea about what mucous belongs in which part of the cycle - so looking for some help!

Are you sure you are not pregnant?

I highly doubt it. We had unprotected sex last month on cycle day 19 - and then I got AF the day she was due, which was day 28. So.. ??

It is possible to ovulate and not get any mucous... but I don't know how that would tie in with you having had a bub last year.

    Sorry hun, I don't know...

    got somethin to share Melly?

ETA - I dont always get ovulation cervical mucous (which from my TTC days should be egg white mucous I think?). I think its just luck of the draw.

Yep, I know 110% you can cos I have a few times...I have also not ovulated at all quite a lot. But looking back on charts where I o'ed, just a bib of creamy cm but pretty much nothing, definately no fertile cm. Hope that helps/reassures you

Phew.. ok... I can... so its not something I need to see the doc about?

Seriously, with all the cervical cancer things you get warned about, if anything slightly out of the usual monthly stuff happens - I freak out a little!

When I've just finally come to peace with my decision to stay with the 3 kids and not go for a 4th - it is bad.. I don't want to have to process it all again ya know? Hard enough the first time round

I'd love a 4th just as much as the others, but I don't want to think about it being possible because then a little part of me gets my hopes up ya know? Then I get hurt when I'm not...
