    Pregnancy Planning

    Hi,

Well still not pregnant and I missed the first pregnancy planning evening at Ashford...forgot it was on! But they phoned me about the next one and went to that a couple of weeks ago. Was pretty good, lots of info - he covered most things that I was interested in and I stayed back to ask some questions in private - and he gave me reassurance that these things take time! Was nice to chat to a doctor like that - I always imagined them to be so busy and have no time to chat, but he was really nice and friendly.

Glad I went, was nice to see the maternity ward - I have booked in to have a look at the delivery room (as they were all full on the night we went!).

Does anyone know when the next Baby expo type event in adelaide is? I know my friend has been in the past and I would love to go.

I have got 9 close friend who have all had baby's this year!! I can't wait until it happens, I hope I am not too old!!!

Yeah, it does take time. But please don't let the little set-backs stop you from enjoying the exciting pre-pregnancy highlights.

There really are good experiences to be had when trying, so embrace it, and it will happen soon enough

Thank you! I'm trying to be relaxed and just enjoy the moment.... if it is meant to be then it will happen! Went with one of my friends to her appointment and met with her doctor - he seemed really nice and offered some advice and support for me. My friend seems really happy with him - has anyone had Dr Carl Lam for their pregnancy? He put me at ease...and I wasn't even seeing him!! (hope he didn't charge my friend for that!!!).
