I am wondering if you can help me, I have had a positive LH Surge for 3 days in a row, my question is, we DTD on Day 12/13 as it was Sunday Morning @2am so would you count that as day 13???, I did an OPK test later that day, it was neg,
OPK's
Baby Danced Day 12/13
Day 13 Neg OPK
Day 14 Positive all day x 3
Day 15 Positive all day x 3
Day 16 Positive so far x 1(today is day 16) I will test again tonight.
this is my second baby, 1st time we BD on day 10 and Day 12 we had a little girl. so I was lucky 1st time I got pregnant, is fertility heredity does anyone know? as I have 13 brothers and sisters, hoping it is.
thanks in advance.
Bella
do you think I could get pregnant from the Baby dancing on Day 12/13 as it's very hard to pin point my husband and I am really trying for a girl so I don't want to BD now as it will be a boy for sure.
IMO yes you can conceive with when you DTD and what the OPK readings are. Remember sperm can live for up to 5 days more or less if given the right environment.
Good luck!
PS Don't know if fertility is hereditary but I do know that my sister and I (only have one) have conceived within 1 - 3 cycles of *trying*. My DH comes from family of 5 and his father a family of 13 also ....
I will keep you posted, you have given me hope and I guess I am part of the TWW now!! god I hate the TWW!!
in my family of 13 only two of us have kids, me and my sister, we both got pregnant 1st time from DTD once at the right time, she has two boys, same both times, so I am thinking it might run in the family, as my mum had to only think about getting pregnant and it would happen!
I think you are in with a good chance this month! Sperm can live for a few days so you have every chance of falling pg.
I'm not sure if fertility is hereditary either, but my mum and her sister were super-fertile. My sister and I also appear to be super-fertile too, both of us fell pg with our children first go (we both have two kids). I had an u/s once and was asked if I take fertility drugs because I looked so fertile .
how soon would symptoms show up, already I can't stop running to the loo and it's a really intense feeling each time! (never had that before) I know it's way to early, even implantation would not have happened yet as the LH surge just finish by 8pm on day 16 (yesterday). so would that make today 1dpo??
Once the LH surge has been detected, successful fertilization is most likely to take place one to three days following the LH surge - with peak fertility at 36 hours post-LH surge.
