It is possible to fall pg if you DTD on the last day of AF - but unlikely. Sperm can survive for 7-10 days in perfect conditions so depending on how long AF was it is theoretically possible.
But, if conception occurred on the last day of AF then I can't see how it could possibly result in a pregnancy because on the last day of AF your hormones would be a bit whacked to start with but there is no uterus lining for the egg can implant into ITKWIM.
my af usually lasts 4 days this time it finshed halfway through the third day pretty much straight after intercourse it stopped... kinda weird thats why i thought id ask
even if conception had occurred,it wouldn't stop AF like that - implantation wouldn't happen for at least five days so the embryo is essentially just "floating" in there and not having any impact on your hormones at all....
I don't think it's possible to conceive during AF BUT sperm can live for up to 5 days and one can never discount the possibility of Oing earlier in the cycle than the average of 14 days. So if her AF goes for 4 days and they BD on CD4 and she O's on CD 9 then it can happen.
So technically conception doesn't happen during AF but is the result of the BD during it, if that makes sense...
Hi, Matilda was conceived during my A.F.... As she was a prem it's hard to tell when as obviously I don't have a birth date to count back from, but from the ultra sound scans it was right through my A.F. which only lasts around 4 days for me... Sorry way T.M.I. also the m/c I just had was again conceived through A.F!!!
no its ok it wasnt to much info its good to hear that im not worrying about nothing and it can actually happen. Thanx for letting me know .. Im not quite sure now i guess ill just have to wait and see.
It is possible... very much so. But not via normal means
How it happens is based on the lunar cycle which has nothing to do which your hormonal levels... therefor the ovulation that would occur during your period is not ovulation from hormones but from your lunar cycle.
Do a google search on "lunar cycles" or "luna conception"
With my last pregnancy i had af and 5 days later baby danced then got pregnant with ruby..
Um in the last 2 weeks i had a/f ,missed my pill for 5 days (slack i know had no pills left)
and b/d twice and now im waiting to see what happens? I cant have my ct until i know..
