Possible implantation bleed? How long till I can test?

Arg! I've been on the Pill for 2 months. Using condoms as well up until 4 days ago (have had sex maybe 3 times since then). Not due to start the red pills until Saturday (meaning AF due to start Monday-ish), but just went to the toilet and when I wiped, I noticed a slight brownish discharge. Could this possibly be an implantation bleed? If so, how long will it take until I get an accurate result on a HPT?
As far as I know, I've been taking the Pill properly - even made DH wait a fortnight after being half an hour late with it one morning (and then changed my time from 7am to 8am as I'm never up at 7am on weekends, I figured if I changed it to a later time I'd avoid the whole 'must be taken at same time every day' thing).
Have been really careful and like I said, have been on the Pill for 2 months now as I wanted to make sure all my bases were covered. I don't usually have spotting between AFs and have never experienced spotting before while on the Pill... have no idea what's going on.

Is it the standard contraceptive pill? Or the mini-pill? As far as I know it's more important with the mini-pill that it be taken at the same time everyday. With the other contraceptive pill (and I totally don't have the correct terminology, sorry!) there is a little bit more leeway. Have you had a look at the enclosed information sheet?

It could also still be your body adjusting to being on the pill? It took a few friends of mine a few months to adjust when they started on a new pill, and one friend had to change pills because she kept having breakthrough bleeding. I don't have much information, but hope you're not pg! Goodluck.

I thought I got pregnant on the Pill (levlen ED) and I freaked out. Was 4 days late. I didn't want to be pregnant at all. I cried for days thinking I was pregnant.
Freaked out very badly and it finally turned up in the middle of DD's cardiology scan. Ahhh, relief. lol.

Probably just your body adjusting to the pill again.

Could always do a HPT the dat AF is due.

I'm on Tripheme, I used it between DD1 and DD2 with no problems... lost the stupid information sheet a few days after getting the script filled (kids climbed the shelves in my wardrobe and got a hold of it - ended up throwing out a whole card of pills because DD1 popped a few out, grrr!). Thanks for the advice and kind words, ladies... I've asked DH to pick up some HPT's on his way home (I usually keep a big stock of them to test if I'm a few days out as my cycle is never 100% regular and there's always a risk even though we use contraception properly and 100% of the time - have run out and didn't bother to stock up again as I figured Pill + condoms would be pretty hard for any little 'accidents' to happen!) from work, so I'll test a few times over the next few days to make sure. Just hate the waiting and not knowing!! I hope you're all right and that it is just random breakthrough bleeding, I have waaayyy too much on my plate right now for any more babies to fit in (not to mention I just spent $12k and 6 weeks recovering from a tummy tuck, I would be SPEWING to see all that go down the drain if I got pg again!)!! FWIW I was on yazmin for yonks with no issues then it screwed around with me like you wouldn't believe. Maybe your body has just had enough of that pill and it's time to try a new one?

something else to think about is maybe a late ovulation. sometimes you can have a bleed around that time (and usually is a bit brown rather than red as it takes a few days to come down ITMS).

I actually had a little bit of brownish discharge before my last period and I'm on the pill ( Levlen ED). I've never had it before so it was kinda weird. I'll just have to wait and see if it happens again next time.
Btw, I didn't really worry cause there wasn't any way I was pg.

Thanks for thinking of me, Ocean Did a test on Tuesday afternoon which came up super-negative, thankfully - just waiting until Saturday to take another, and maybe one a few days after that just to make sure :/ Discharge has slowed up, there's still a slight brownish tinge when going to the toilet but not as bad as the other day - hoping it's just a little breakthrough bleed and that it means nothing! x

babe, i hope it's just a breakthrough bleed.....however tripheme is the pill i was on when i fell pg with DS1. I was totally like wtf?!? GL and i hope it al works out xxxx

When I've had implant bleeding (all three pregs) there's been a stage where there is bright red blood streaked through EWCM. That's usually when my light globe flickers on and I realise I'm UTD
