Yes it can be normal for AF to be that late. Especially if she is stressing or worrying about it. I would give it another week or if she develops more symptoms. GL.
thanks guys, it is irregular for her to be this late, i mean she has been before,but she has been off the pill for a while now, and her breasts are tender, nipples are darker and the craving...we are a bit worried as you can imagine..we will give it another few days. it just sucks, we wouldn't mind if i had actually ejaculated! seeing as we didn't we would be annoyed..sounds silly, but we where not planning this
My AF is very regular, but sometimes it throws me off somewhat, it is completely normal to be late, even if it doesn't happen very often.
A lot of times AF symptoms are much the same as preg symptoms, which is what I experience. I find the sickness doesn't kick in until about week 6 of my preg, nipples don't darken until later on, but do have tenderness of the breasts, as for cravings, only happens to me when AF is due not when I'm preg.
There is a 50/50 chance, but if the condom didn't break then there isn't a huge chance of preg.
So why all of that?! It could mean anything really, you need to just get a test, then if it's neg and you're not ready to start a family as yet maybe you could have a look at contraception options that will work for you both.
i guess what has thrown us off is the nipples darkening, and the craving..she is about 4 days late, should have got it sunday/monday..her last day of last cycle finished 13/2 (officially stopped 12/2), and she is not on pill however has been waiting to get her period again to go back on it!
she has known to be a bit off sometimes , but is generally regular..i can tell she is worried, and no it did not break, but like i said we did have insertion without protection (silly i know). And at one point we did pull out, whilst ejcaulation occured (we where in the shower )
she isn't vomitting, but does feel as you would when a period is due, and being late doesn't help her.
My early symptoms were cramping, feeling tired, i had dark blue/purpley veins appear on my boobs and my pee was dark yellow. I got a BFP on the day i was due for AF so i hadnt missed one yet.
