Hi everyone, My name is Renee and I am 22yrs old. I've been struggling with endo since I was 16, but was only diagnosed 2 yrs ago..
In June I underwent my 2nd lap in 2 yrs. My condition this time round was so much worse than the first. I was feeling constant pain that no amount of medication could cure, and come period time i was practically dysfunctional . It led me to having an excessive amount of sick days at work and an all round fear of getting my period.
My surgery was originally scheduled for June 19th, but due to the amount of pain i was in, it was pushed forward to June 4th. of course because my luck was going so awesomely, my period was late by 2 weeks and i could feel it coming on the day before surgery, so I took the pill (which is had been off for about 3-4 months because it was making me feel sick) to help delay until at least after the procedure.
My period officially came 2 days after the lap and all seemed well... there was no pain (other than post op) until now. My 2nd period came 40 days after. I was expecting some delay because of the op and because of taking the pill, but not that long. The pain is exactly like it use to be and I just can't take it.
I had really heavy bleeding for the first day and then it slowed right down to pretty much nothing on the 2nd day, but the pain is still there. Has anyone ever had this experience?
I'm really frustrated and cranky all the time (i never use to get that way) and i can't see my gyno till mid aug.
My DF and I had been planning to start TTC in Sept, but i really just want to start tying now if i can. I pretty much put it to him that 2 months isn't going to make a difference to him in 9 months time, but for me it is excruciating pain. I really want a baby and for all the right reasons, My only problem is he isn't communicating with me about it, he just said let me think about it.......
Any advice fellow BB'ers??
Nay
