I went to my GP and she tested for everything - immunity to any disease you can imagine, as well as certain vitamin levels, and she took a detailed family history, which was really good.

I'm soooo excited already, eventhough it's still about 6 months to go before we're going to be TTC, but I know it'll probably go by pretty quick as the past 7 months of this year certainly has gone by amazingly fast!

I never had mumps, polio, or any of those other illnessess, but would like to check my rubella immunity and get the shot done before TTC, so will definitely be asking about all those.

I'm also taking preventative prescription medication for migraines so want to find out about when to stop taking it and ask more questions about migraines during pregnancy etc.

As I've mentioned before, my OB/Gyn appointment is in September so I'm going to wait until I see him and then ask him about everything and ask him to run all the necessary tests he recommends. I've also started a list of questions that I want to ask my OB/Gyn when I see him.

There are some medications that can be taken through pregnancy.. TBH I have only needed migraine medication about 5 times since I feel pg with DD is Feb 07..

Thanks for that Heather. I will double check with my OB at my appointment in September that the medication that I'm on will be safe to use during pregnancy and if not, ask him about any other migraine meds that I might be able to take during pregnancy IF I experience migraines.

I've done some reading online and research and have read that some women who experiences migraines tend to have less migraines during pregnancy, which I think might be a bonus if that is the case!
