    Primolut N

    Hello everyone

Just wondering who out there has used Primolut N? I have been prescribed it 1 tablet a day for 5 days to help my body get back to some normal cycles after no AF for 77 days. After I have finshed the course for 5 days and hopefully fingers crossed get my AF is it safe to TTC again, with the hope ovulation occurs. I know that you shouldn't TTC when on it but is after fine? Or does it stay in your body?

I know it sound like a dumb question but I don't want to anything that would harm a potential pregnancy.

    Thanks

primulut is an artificial progesterone that lifts the level of prgesterone in your body for the few days that you're on it - when you stop, it drops the level over a few days, mimicking the progesterone drop that preceeds AF. i guess it's a way of tricking your body into bleeding...

i have used primulut several times to induce a visit from AF - and each time, i've stared ovulation induction meds as soon as AF has arrived - under instruction from the specialists, so that's a pretty clear sign that it's ok to TTC in my book!

    good luck!

    Hello

Thanks for the info, that is what I thought but I just want to be safe and I like hearing other people experiences.
