Progesterone Level of 69.9 nmol/L Does this sound like a good ovulation ??

    Hi Ladies,
My DH and I have been ttc for nearly a year now and this is my first cycle on 50mg Clomid. My first progesterone bt on Day 21 was only 3.3 nmol/L but on day 20 till day 23/24 I could feeling cramping like AF however I found a little EWCM on day 23 so assumed I ovulated later than doctors told me. Due to this I asked to get another BT to measure Progesterone levels on day 31. My result was 69.9 nmol/L the spec said this was good is this right ? Could it indicate more ? I have also been feeling more fatigued and had a small bout of nausea last night along with getting up to go the toilet in the middle of the night 3 times this week which is unusual for me. Im on day 32 now and spec said do a HPT in a week. As most of you ladies know your head can play games with you sometimes after month after month of dissapointment and you feel maybe your crazy and these systoms are nothing as you dont want to get to excited in case it is the same BFN. Its hard as I am still hopefull and excited as its a step closer as I have ovulated this month which is the first time in 5 months and I have PCOS.
Any thoughts on this would be great as it gets lonely going through this especially as I am away from your family.

    Thanks,
    D

That's a good level my love and it indicates you did indeed ovulate. Progesterone levels cannot predict pregnancy - and it is the higher progesterone level that is making you feel a little nauseous. Many women will not ovulate on cd14 on clomid - I am also a late ovulater on clomid - so what you have experienced is not unusual...
You could probably to a HPT with first morning urine tomorrow... I hope this is your month!

Thanks for the reply, its good to know i'm not the only one ovulating late in Clomid, the spec didn't even mention that there could be a possibility of a late ovulation on clomid even with crazy cycles in the past, its like they assume we are all on 28 cycles. Anyway thanks again and Also to you all
