I had light brown mucusy bleeding at about 6 weeks and a small light brown bleed at about 36 weeks.
Then a very heavy bright red bleed that lasted almost 24 hours off and on at 39 weeks, a day before my ds was born, that begin after intercourse (*ahem* tmi ) The ob at the hospital said it was 'just show' but I doubted that then and I doubt it now- it's something I've been meaning to look into. I didn't think a show, even a bloody one, was supposed to be that heavy and continous.

Obviously, the pregnancy turned out fine
