Hi On Trak,
Sorry I can t help you with an answer to this but am interested in hearing what others recommend. I have my first appointment with a Doctor Molloy on the 20th july so will see how that goes.
Hi funkbunny, thanks for your reply. I have done more searching through the threads and came up with a few suggestions from others:
Fertility Specialists of WA - Mike Aitken, John Love, Roger Hart and one other Dr??
Fertility North in Joondalup
Fertility Centre in Yokine
All came with good recommendation from the various people. Is Dr Molloy with one of those clinics? I hope that helps you.
I had Love/Aitken as my OB for birth of DD so I will probably go there ...
I'm with Dr Chau too...I used him for fertility stuff...he was very thorough, organising numerous tests before we actually started any treatment. He then started me on Clomid and I was fortunate to get my first BFP ever in 3 years!
I'm with Dr Roger Perkins at Hollywood Fertility Centre. Have had one appointment and next one is tomorrow - assuming I don't get a BFP between now and then (I live in hope). My DH likes him too. He is very reassuring. The staff at the clinic are very efficient and the whole process seems v. organised. It took about 5 weeks to get the initial appointment and it cost $120 - don't know what you get back from medicare.
Hi Rachel, I have my first FS appt coming up in a few weeks, at Pivot. I originally had an appt with Hollywood but I pulled out before going, because I got the run-around with appointments and lost confidence in them (long story!) - nothing to do with the doctor's care, just the way the apptment clerks were operating (tho I'm glad you've found them good Didi! I must have just got them in a bad month). Rachel, I'll let you know how I go at Pivot. Dr we're seeing is Dr Latha - I hope she's OK !
