Rubella Booster

Hi!

I just got my BT resultss for pre-conception and was told that my Rubella is low (16) and I need a booster shot... my orginal doc said oh you only need to wait 30 days and the doc that gave me the results said rubbish you need to wait 3 months and whats the problem! (hmmmm TERRIBLE bedside manner among other things ) Anyways now I am confussed is 3 or 1 month?????

Some research says to wait 1 month, some say 3 months. I had to get a Rubella booster, and I accidentially fell pg after the first month. My dr wasn't too worried though as some of the research does say just to wait a month.
On the safe side, I'd wait 3 months though.

3 months as it can cause deafness in the baby and some abnormalities

I had a booster and when i did fall preg my levels were still low!!!!!!! (18 months from booster till preg)
