    We are hoping to get over to Perth to see DHs kids late September/early October so that would be a good time to go ahead (our little frosty is at Hollywood IVF).....

    Time to get things moving .... I've booked in with my doctor to get a pap smear, check-up and referral. The nurses at the FC told me I could have a phone interview with one of the doctors there to prescribe the HRT drugs and that I could have my scans and bloods here at Sydney IVF.

    ...next step is to book flights and accommodation

    Pffft ... 40 is nuthin' - I know this cos I'll be 40 in Dec next year (... and on the TTC train for #3)

    Clucky!!!

    Agh I know the feeling! But very different situation!
    I'm 23, and half way through my 2nd degree. I work at a before and after school centre. I rent a house with my partner of 5 years, who is 25.
    For the last year I have craved a baby soooo badly! It's like every part of my body is screaming it wants a baby! I LOVE children, and will be a primary school teacher in a year!
    I know now is not the 'right' time to have children, Im at uni, renting and not married. But I want it so bad I don't know how I can wait any longer, it's almost painful! Haha
    And... My partner doesn't feel he is ready yet- he is very career minded
    Any suggestions to make the next part of my life bearable? Haha
