    Sore breasts already

We only started trying on 1 November (my private hospital waiting periods were up by then, and, well, a Saturday is always good isn't it). And I have had sore breasts starting since Sunday just past. Obviously this is one of two things - pregnancy, or pre-periods. But if it is the latter, boy it's come early. I have been off the pill for 6 months and I am pretty regular with that sort of thing.

Could I already be showing symptoms after only 7-10 days??? I am only new to this, and also, I'm 41, so the idea of potentially having fallen pregnancy so fast is, well, kind of 'inconceivable' to me! I guess I'll know soon enough if my periods arrive. I also only occasionally have breast tenderness, and it is pretty strong this time.

How common/likely is breast tenderness this early, any experts? Thanks...

Sorry I can't help you fully, but sore breasts was the first sign I noticed. A wee stick picked up my pregnancy when I was 3 weeks, 4 days or around that. I was off the pill for 7 months after having been on it for 7 years so nothing is impossible!

Do you usually get 'ovulation pain'? I usually got light cramping and tender breasts halfway through my cycle.

You could be having symptoms this early, as soon as implantation occurs you can start to feel symptoms. When early pregnant with DS2 I had sore breasts straight away too, I then started breaking out with acne EVERYWHERE (inc. inside my ears, ouch!) and got a backache I only get when AF is here.

    Good luck

I have no idea if I get ovulation pain, if so it's certainly something I haven't associated with a particular time of the month. Maybe it's something I've formerly blamed on digestion! I only get sore breasts leading immediately up to my periods, not mid cycle. Oh well, we'll see.

    Hi Mango

with my DD, I got sore breasts after 7 days, I never get sore breast ever, so I knew I was pregnant for sure, I was testing everyday after that, all neg, but I knew I was, a blood test confirmed it at 3 weeks 6 days!

Umm, I'll let you know if a couple days?
I had exactly the same thing from about 7-10 dpo this cycle. I do sometimes have fuller feeling breasts between O and AF but this is different. I'll find out in the next couple days if I am UTD or not! But between you and me this cycle is feeling very different to my other cycles.
