How soon after conception would you feel an ectopic?
Hi all, I have had a previous ectopic and had my tube removed on my left side. We are ttc at the moment and for 3 days now I have had cramping and an unusual niggling feeling especially on my left side. Even when I walk or just move about its so noticeable. I know that things inside do move around and I am worried that my tube has moved over to catch the egg from my left ovary and maybe it is ectopic again. Could I feel it this soon?? Or am I just being paranoid?
Awww hun, I really hope it isn't and it is just something else - maybe the cramping is from the tube moving over? Surely lightening can't strike you twice
Oh Trill what would I do without you, of course it would be too small, why didnt I think of that. I guess I am just on high alert now. I swear to god TTC is the worst thing I wont ever take other people's TTC issues lightly ever again.
Madsmum where about's are you in your cycle? I have the same type of pain also and it lasts from just before O to when I get AF. I only get a break when AF arrives until I am about to O and its exactly the same pain I had with my ectopic. Its a constant throb and ache and especially noticable when I am sitting, driving a car or bending over like their is something in there that is in the road of whats normal if that makes sense. I've had scans and another lap and have been told it is nothing. It is hard when you have had an ectopic pregnancy before out of fear of it happening again and every twing you notice and worry something might be in the wrong place.
Apparently most ectopic pregnancies rupture at 6-7weeks if not diagnosed earlier. And of those people almost all are painfree until just before it ruptured the tube. I got to 8wks1day and had left sided pain since 5weeks although it was in my right tube. They said it was referred pain from the right side so I guess I was different and thats why it was hard to diagnose.
Best of luck ttc. I hope you are pregnant and its made it safely to the uterus.
Thankyou girls. Implantation cramping that would be great, but I dont think so? Who knows I am going to try put it all to the back of my mind for the next two weeks and see what happens. I am so over worrying about making babies!!!
I am still having this strange pain, its like a dull sort of pain and every now and then its sharp. I guess the obvious thing to do would be see a Dr, but I think I am only about 5 - 8 dpo....
H- i think given your past history you should se a dr just to be sure. If for nothing else but to help set your mind at ease. They may not be able to see anything on US yet, but they could at least do a blood test to check if you were preg. fingers crossed it is all good.
