A line is a line! If it comes up within the timeframe then good chance its a BFP!!
just wondering if some brands of pregnancy tests can show a super faint blue line when you arent pregnant. like, if you look hard enough in the right angle and the right light can you see almost where the line should be and still be not pregnant. or should there be absolutely 100% nothing?

In our experience, if you really really have to look for it and tilt it and squint, it isn't a positive. You can usually pick where the line should be, but unless it's the right colour and clearly there, it's negative.
I was just reading about pregnancy tests on the BellyBelly article before I logged into forums today.
Pregnancy Test FAQ's - How Do Pregnancy Tests Work?
"Occasionally the test may display a ‘shadow’ line when the positive result should be, disregard this if you cannot see it when holding the test at arms length away from you."
That's what my first test looked like with this pregnancy - it was only a few hours later that it got stronger
Sent from my iPhone so forgive the speelung misstacks![]()
ok, thanks girls. i am pretty sure i am not pregnant. mainly due to having the implanon in my arm but started getting some spotting and a few other iffy symptoms so thought i would check.
What brand was it Hollo?
crystal clear
I would say wait 2 days and re-test, but they do say a line is a line.

Ugh crystal clear are notorious for evap lines or "false positives". I would retest with First Response and try to use first morning urine. Good luck!
I had the same thing happen with crystal clear- had blood test, def negative. Very annoying!!!!
Hi allI did a pregnosis test first thing this morning. I'm not actually due for my period till early next week. There was definately a very faint line.. But unless I really looked for one, in the right light I probably would have missed it. Has anyone else had anything similar?? The line showed up within 5 mins!
Blue dye tests are notorious for false positives. Then again, I've been getting shadows on the FRER as well, although those ones dry white...
I agree the best bet is to wait 2 days and re-test. If it's a real BFP it will be darker by then. If it looks the same in 2 days time it's most likely a false positive.
