babe.
I can't remember that happening for me on vitex.
Could it have been a chemical pregnancy?
Hope it stops soon for you.
Ill try and explain this as best as possible.
I am currently TTC#2 and have been since Feb 2010. This month just gone I really thought was my month. Everything was looking positive that I was finally UTD. My LP is only 10 days, so I have been on Vitex to hopefully knock things into gear a little. I also have PCOS. Anyway, I had spotting on 9DPO... it was the tiniest bit of pinkish blood. Which is very unlike me, i have NEVER spotted. That morning I got what I thought was a faint BFP, but with what followed Im wondering if it was an evap line? So that when away (was only there when i wiped on 2 occasions that day. About 32 hours after that, i began to bleed. (the day AF was due, thanks to my 10 day LP) It was very mucousy and stopped at the end of that day but I was left with the worst stomach cramps imaginable. This morning I woke up and I was bleeding again and over the course of the day it has gotten so heavy and almost everytime i wipe there are clots. My stomach is so sore. Its very unlike me, i dont usually get clots at all, its never really heavy.
So what do you all think? Is it normal? Could it be from the Vitex? What could it be? Should i be worried?

I'm not sure MM, just wanted to offer a big![]()
normal AF doesn't have clots.... For me anyway, maybe it's the Vitex....hopefully someone using Vitex as well will come along and give some advice ...

My liquid herb mixture from the naturopath has vitex in it. My last cycle was really strange, mostly (TMI ahead) brownish discharge with some clots![]()
What is a chemical pregnancy?
I had almost the exact same thing this cycle just gone... a faint faint bfp (or evap?) follow by brown (not red) light clumpy flow... then AF for real a day later. I was on VITEX as well, but I have used VITEX many cycles but never experienced this before.

Mumma Mia:Our bodies can be so confusing hun.
CBG: I was going to try and explain it but just got this info and cut and paste it instead.A chemical pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg does not implant into the uterine wall. If a pregnancy test is taken just at the right time it will be positive, however, when a repeat test is taken several days later it will be negative. A chemical pregnancy leaves the couple to cope with the difficult news of thinking they were pregnant when in reality they are miscarrying. However, majority of women who have a chemical pregnancy never know they are pregnant before they miscarry and begin what they think is their normal menstrual cycle.
A similar thing happened to me last cycle (but I only tested on 10DPO and got a BFN). I had the brown spotting which I never usually get, lots of pain and then plenty of clots and a heavy AF. I am not on Vitex.
I had a chemical pg / miscarriage a few months ago but I was 5 weeks along so it was a bit different to this one.
Hugs to you, I hope your BFP is just around the corner.
