    Smile Today's the day

Today's the day I take a yukky but necessary step towards conceiving- I'm having my dermoid removed. I'm scared out of my brains as I've never had surgery/ general anaesthetic before and I'm hoping and wishing that my ovary is OK to be left where it is.

I'm trying to think positively about it- that it will bring me one step closer to conceiving. I'm so nervous I feel sick though!

Anyway, wish me luck! If all goes well, by 3pm I'll be a bit sore and missing an ugly plum sized tumour that could have teeth and hair in it! Good riddance!!

    Take care!

    Yay it's gone!

Just got home from the hospital as I was sick and had to stay overnight. Apart from being very sore and tired, I'm OK. I did it!! No more dermoid!!

Anyway, thanks for your kind messages. I'm back into bed (this was just supposed to be a toilet trip!) to sleep away the rest of the pain.

Oh and my gyno said she couldn't see anything else wrong in there (apart from PCOS) but no endo or anything which is great! Next step... baby!! (They were her words!)

    Woohoo!

Fantastic news, Peekay. Glad to hear that everything went well and there is nothing else to worry about.

Now for the BFP - and even with PCOS it is possible - believe me I KNOW .
