    Trying for first baby :)

    Hi everyone

    I'm new to the forum....
My husband and I have been married for
Over a year and are trying to concieve our
    First baby!
Any tips on how to make it happen quickly?
I am using a siliva microscope to see when I'm
Ovulating as I don't have regular periods.
We both just want it to happen straight away
    Thanks

    Hi Sarah,

    Welcome to BB!

No tips from me, I am LTTCer and on the path to IVF. Pop into one of the TTC forums for tips & hints. Alot of ladies on here use OPK's and take their temperature

I highly recommend fertilityfriend dot com. Lots of the lovely ladies here use it, it helps you monitor your cycle and teaches you heaps about conception.

Welcome to BB! You'll find heaps of support here

    Hi Sarah!

    Welcome to BB!

I agree with wannabemum try fertilityfriend.com I used it trying for our because I had massive irregular periods. It's good to learn about how your body works too.

Hope you've already got a sticky one now tho!

    Fertility friend.com

I tried to go onto fertility friends forums,
But it kept telling me that I had to pay and subscribe
    to use them

Thats strange. You should be able to just subscribe without paying and set up a basic chart? Did it have that option? I never used their forums only their charting, so I'm not really sure about that

You have to pay/subscribe to go on their forums, but you don't have to pay to set up your chart. On the right after you sign in, you should be able to see "my chart" or something. I never paid (until the last month, Murphy's Law), and charted for quite a while. I hope you find the link!

    Hi sarah,
I started off using one of the saliva scopes since I couldn't do BBT because I wake up every few hours. I mentioned to my gyn about the fact I was using a scope and he said they're not always very accurate. I had fun looking at the ferns but for me I'd see them more than you are supposed to. That or I ovulated 10 times a month !

I started using OPKs that I bought online from Oracle Fertility. They were the cheapest I could find, plus they take paypal which is good for us.
