Trying for a third....crazy am i?

Sooo ive made the decsion to try for a third kidlet....i must be silly or crazy

I have been told 100 times or more that I am crazy, but both DH and I wanted a third. So here we are 12 weeks along with what could be boy number 3. Eeek!

Don't listen to the negativity. 3 will be great! Good luck TTC.

I looove having 3! It's great fun. Yep, people think you are crazy.

I went to my GP to get a referral for my OB for something not baby related. He gave me 'the OMG' look of are you pregnant?? I was there with DS2 and DD in the stroller and he knew I also had one at school Lol!
He then proceeded to give me the thats plenty surely lecture. I was going to tell him the story of a friend who had two boys and went for a third and had triplets, just didn't want to put him anymore shock

Crazy yes :P But so absolutley worth it! I know my #3 is still little but she is absolutley delightful, and her brother and sister just adore her. I can't imagine life without without 3 kids and best of all I feel complete.

i come from a family of 3 siblings ... since when was it crazy lol it was usually 3 or more kids in the days when i was a kid in the 70's & 80's but then affordabily was different then (mortgages, etc not as high) ... i say GO FOR IT with bubba #3 if you can afford it or at least stretch it

I've been told I was crazy to have #3 too, with a 'pidgeon pair'. Why on earth would you want a 3rd with two perfect beautiful children already???? Because I love them and love being a mummy and just want another....is that ok??

LOL, good luck ttc, and don't listen to anyone else but yourself and DH. You are both the only ones that matter int his decision!

I was also going to say since when was 3 crazy, I am one of 3 - and in my mind 3 is not a crazy number (although I will probably only have two due to financial/age constraints) - for me crazy is maybe 8 (like my Grandma!). If finance wasn't an issue so I didn't have to work I would have as many as possible :-)

If you're crazy, then I must be too.
I don't feel "finished" yet, so we're going to try for a 3rd and final bubba. At almost 38, I'm realistic about it happening but we'd love another baby in the next 12-18 months. Won't be going down the path of assisted conception though if it looks like it won't happen, as I feel we're already blessed with two children. A third would really just be icing on the cake.
Still, wonder if I could order a girl baby, ha ha : )

Nah, not crazy! So many people are having a 3rd baby these days. I think its pretty cool actually. Id go for a fourth too, but DH can only handle one more

MIL has told us on so many occasions that 2 kids is more than enough, so thank god we are finished. I cant wait to see her face when we tell her we are pg with #3!

Yup another "crazy" one here too! I do sometimes think people look at me like I actually AM crazy when I even mention having a third...!

Another crazy one here too! My family are supportive, they want us to have more. Its the randoms on the street who give me death stares or make unwanted comments.

It is a crazy lifestyle but it works for us. We just need more space so there is somewhere for all the kids toys to be hidden away, which is why we are moving soon.

I had no idea 3 was crazy!! I have 3, I'd love another but was sooooo sick with DS3 I'm too scared to try for #4, but if 3 is crazy then 4 must be completely insane! So maybe it's best for my mental health to stick with crazy and not move up to complete insanity

Only people that don't enjoy parenting will tell you that you are crazy! At least that's the conclusion I have come to Last weekend I met someone who very loudly said "Don't you have a telly?" It's like they don't understand why someone would actually want a big family. Sure I had one accident but there was a good chance we would have tried for #4 when the time was right. Fate just happened to step in and beat us to it lol.

I love my brood and would love another but we've stopped at 4 for several reasons. I have told DH that if we win tattslotto then we're going back again
