Well I am already a mum of two toddlers and I have had a nagging feeling for the last few months that I need one more baby to fill my family. I am however terrified that my age may present some increased chances of issues with the baby's health. I really just want to hear some good stories... reassurance! I had cholestatis with both pregnancies and had both babies early.
My other bubs are 3 and 2 years so, at a good age for me to include one more baby... We will try and start this month, fingers crossed!
I had my first baby at 38 - she's MORE than fine. She's just come back from running around the playground for 2.5 hours without a break. Has been to the doctors twice in two and a half years and is basically as fit as a fiddle physically and mentally.
Everything has risks - but one thing's for sure, you can't change your age so it's not worth worrying about.
Many, many, many woman have healthy children who are much older than 33! I consider 33 to still be very young. I am obviously 32 and will give birth 1 month before I turn 33. We intend to have more children and at this rate will be closer to 40 by the time we are finished.
At 33 with two perfect kiddies under your belt? No problems. Issues (statistically) begin after 35, but these days, with ovulation tracking, female health etc, the chances are very high for an eventual BFP if TTC up to 40 (and beyond). Good luck hun!
I was 34 when I had DD1 and 37 when I had DD2 - both are perfect and conceived first try. With 2 other kids already I think you should be fine. Good luck
