As you all konw my Dh and I have been ttc for the last 2 months, so we are kinda new to this. I went off the pill 2 months ago, had the withdrawal bleed and then 28 days later had a normal period. I also had bloodwork done in there as my do wanted to check out my hormone levels (week before my normal period) in which all were very normal. Now I'm 3 days late for my next period although I have had cramping off and on (mainly at night) for about the last 9 days af still hasn't appeared (since about day 21). I have no other signs of pregnancy. So I was wondering if is possible/likley my cycle may still be messed up after cmming off the pill, even though it was spot on straight away?.... or whether its likley I may be pregnant?... I know I should test but I really don't want to be disappointed!

I have heard of women having whacky cycles after coming off the pill. And unfortunately cramping is a symptom of AF and pregnancy! Our bodies are crazy.
I guess until you test or AF arrives you will never know....waiting is the worst, isn't it!

My cycles were spot on after I came off the pill for about 2-3 months then they went out of wack. I have been off the pill for 7 months now and they are only just getting back to normal so hang in there.
Like Sammy said, unless you test or AF arrives you wont know. I had a normal cycle after coming off the pill and then had completely whacked out cycles every other time. I do have PCOS but what im trying to say is that i did have a normal cycle straight after the pill also.
Just an update, AF arrived 2day, four days late.... is alot heavier than normal, with clotting and more cramping than I am used to (sorry if tmi). So im guessing that either my cycle is messed up since comming off the pill (af was never like this before I went on the pill) or I may have had a chemical pregnancy (which i hear is likley especially when ttc your first child, somewhere around 50% of all first pregnancys end this way) I guess I could try and find out exactly what is happening, but sometimes it is better not to know I think and just ride with it! Here's hoping for next month!
