TTC with a FIFO hubby, anyone else?

Just thought I'd do a shout out to see if any others are trying to conceive while their other halves are working fifo? Mine works 4 weeks away and 1 week home so no idea when we'll ever get pregnant... =(

Not at the moment, but I do have a 2 1/2 yo so it's definitely possible. Mine didn't even have a predictable roster nor guaranteed times at home. You just have to give it every opportunity you have

DH was fifo when we conceived DD1 so it is possible! Took a while though and as Kim suggested, we just took every opportunity as you never know how long his swimmers will survive or if you might have a cycle where you ovulate earlier or later than usual.

My husband and I were trying for a year to conceive DD2 - he worked a 3-1, and a 2-2 roster over that time. It was a completely frustrating PITA. But we got there eventually.

Thanks so much for the replies! Before my daughter and before fifo it took two years cos my cycles vary from 30-60 days so when we start trying and i take out the mirena I have no idea what yo expect...
