I usually wouldn't worry too much about replying like this, but I really would like all women who would like to attempt to sway to be fully informed. All the most recent research actually debunks Shettles. X and Y sperm live the same amount of time and will usually swim at the same speed. However there is plenty of research that show there are certain factors that will favour one sperm over the other, eg. female testosterone, pH and even a full moon.
If I were to give any advise to couples wanting to sway the odds I would simply say do lots of research and don't put all your trust in timing alone.
