TTC and UTI

I am CD14 today, FX it is O day, and we DTD daily for the last three or four days (but not today). I woke up this morning to cloudy urine and burning pee .

Is it possible to conceive while suffering a UTI? Anyone here actually fallen pregnant with a UTI? Because it burns, I keep thinking it is far too acidic down there for any sperm to survive.

A UTI causes burning of the urethra (the wee tube, connected to the front orifice). You DTD and conceive via the vagina (the middle orifice - but hopefully you figured that bit out already!!). So you can absolutely conceive whilst you have a UTI, the acidity of your urine will not affect high up in your vagina where the sperm is deposited. You should treat your UTI though, or you will soon be very uncomfortable! Make sure your doctor knows you are TTC if you require medication. Good luck, I hope this is your month!

Sorry, I couldn't help but laugh... I got a visual about DTD and the urethra . It's unlikely to be our month but I can't not hope.
