Vitex make you veiny?

Hey ladies,

quick Q, I'm taking vitex for the second time to reg cycle and to try and O. In the past I've had a couple of very veiny cycles where I've thought I was pregnant (one I had a faint BFP then got heavy AF, early mc or chemical i presume). Typically its mainly BBs/chest and inner arms preceeding AF.
ATM it isn't just my BBs and arms, up my neck, torso, thighs, ankles... My doc told me the vein visibility is from progesterone. I'm still having occasional nipple pain which is also a prog. symptom for me.

I'm 19dpo or CD7 - I bled quite moderately for 1.5 days which I took for AF (was at my friends labor ironically) although it started and stopped very abruptly and I'm a serial spotter.
My BBT is not as low as post-AF pre-O or as high as it was the last time I had a BFP.
I'm just stumped by all this veineyness and the lingering temp
Pg highly unlikely as this cycle was combination withdrawal and condoms.

Any similar experiences with this herb? Or perhaps a CL cyst despite the bleed?

I haven't had any veiny side effects from Vitex. I've gone off it now that I'm TTC, and can really tell how good it was for helping with the moodiness of PMS.
