Vitex; how much should I be taking?

When i took vitex the brand I brough was a once a day tablet so I took it once a day.

The naturopath that I saw around this time told me to start taking it on the first day of AF and then take continuously right up until end of first tri. After a few months she decided that I should stop taking vitex because I had started clomid. When I stopped taking vitex she told me to stop on the last day of my cycle. HIH
