I would do family first then career. But that is just me, I have never really been career focused, it's all about the cute chubby babies here lol

I think I would do family first, get the baby stage over and done with then move on to the next stage of my life

Thanks so much for all your advice. However, I think I have decided to go the Uni path. Ive spoken to a few people, as well as my Mum and ive decided that trying to organise studying and clinical experience time, as well as uni attendance would be even more of a nightmare with 4 children, rather than three. My oldest starts school next year and my 3yr old will probably go to kindy for a few days, so it will just be my 15 month old to consider. Then after I finish uni I can have another bub and as my lovely mum said, "sit back and enjoy it!!".

Thanks again girls!!....ill see you back in this thread in a couple of years

    Hi,
Good luck with it all! I think that you are making a smart decision. I went back to work full time this year and was hoping to be pregnant by now but unfortunately that didn't happen and had I have said no I will wait until I have another baby and then go back I would be faced with a tough decision as I wouldn't be able to afford to stay at home and would have missed out on saving enough money all in the hope that I would get pregnant again! I say live your life and do what you want to do and things will always work out even if you do get pregnant again!
Hope that all made sense, wishing you well with your course!

    That's a great decision.

I don't think it's necessarily true that you can study anytime, so have babies first.

I also like to think that sometimes things happen to give you a push, and i would see the envelope arriving just after you posted as a sign you are going the right way.

    Good luck

    Hi Claire,

Good luck with your masters next year. You'll be fine. And it's only 12 months to do your masters isn't it? So it won't be too too long until you can try for that little girl.

I'm hoping to start BMid in 2010 - but want to squeeze in another bub beforehand otherise I'd have 4 more years until I could have #2 and that would be Wayyy to much of a gap.
