When is too early to test

Hi,

I am due for AF on Monday coming and me being impatient decided to test. The test result came up positive pretty much straight away but then it disappeared with in a few minutes. Do you think it could be positive? or a false positive because I tested too early. The expiry date on the test is Sept 2011. I just wanna know..lol

False positives are pretty rare. But it could be an evaporation line or a faulty test. Can you retest to be sure?

I've never seen a 2nd line disappear. I've had a BFP at 8dpo and at 11dpo for different pregnancies. They're all different.

It was the last test in an old packet. I am tempted to go and buy another test but I should probably just wait until Monday.

Wow. I'm a POAS junkie, so there's no way I could wait until then if I'd spotted a line. I'd be stocking up on FRERs and counting down the hours until I could POAS again

i'd def test again! i had a line disappear this time round. but did enough others that i figured it was the faulty one, not the others

I'd definitely test again as well. I've never had a line disappear. I still have all the old tests from my DS and DD and they all still have their lines. I have about 12 tests from my DD, lol!!!
