Will the GP think I'm a weirdo?

Wellll, I'm currently 11 DPO this cycle and little impatient me did a HPT this morning and if my eyes aren't playing tricks on me there seems to be the faintest of faint lines. And I mean very faint. I POAS then put it down to go get DD out of bed and when I went back about 10 mins later there it was. I don't know what to make of it. Whether it's a super faint + or whether its an evap line??? it seems to have a super faint pink tinge when I look very closely in the light but I'm not confident to say it was a definate. And I'm wondering if it's my eyes playing tricks?

I have to take DD to the Dr this afternoon as she has a temp. Do you think the Dr will think I'm a weirdo if I ask for a BT to confirm whether I'm pregnant?

Oh why oh why did I test so soon

A blood test this early may more than likely be inconclusive hun. So it will probably only drag things out longer kwim? Wait a few more days, get a definite clear result on a test and go back again.

Hehe my GP thought I was a weirdo when I lobbed up with a fainter than faint pos test on day 12! She did, however, when I pointed to where the exact line was - agree with me...and ordered a blood test to be taken the following week, when it would be more meaningful.

Good luck, got my fingies and toesies crossed for a confirmed for you just in time for Christmas!!!

Thanks guys. I sooo just want to know either way.
I got a super super faint second line on both a forelife and a pregnosos brand test that I had in the draw. I just wonder if they are evap lines because they are so so faint and I looked at the 10 minute mark, but I can't ever remember getting a evap line when testing in the past. who knows

Not sure if your dr will think your weird, but.

This time last year, I had a BFN, then for some reason on Xmas eve, I bought a test, tested on Xmas morning, with a very clear BFP in about 10 secs.. But I have no idea how many DPO I was cause my cycle was changing each month.

So it is possible.. But maybe your dr will give you a referral slip to get done if you still think you could be pg next week (save going back, just for the slip).

Good luck. Hope it is a BFP for you

    Thats good to know
I'll run it by the Dr anyway today and see what they say. They may just give me a slip for a BT to have it done in a few days.
Must say I'm tempted to buy one of those digital HPt's to test tomorrow to see if i get a difinitive answer I'm sure there is someone on here on BB who did a digital one at 10DPO and got a BFP.

I would definately get a digital test, my sister is a midwife and swears by these tests. Make sure you do it with your first wee in the morning though.

I would use a discover one step or first response test, they both have tests which do up to 5 days before AF is due and are more sensitive than the digital one's anyway and cheaper

Just a quick update. While I was at the Dr's she gave me a slip for a BT and said to get it done when AF is due.
On the way home we had to pop down to Coles and I couldn't resist going and getting a First response test (beema's suggestion ) and couldn't help myself so PAOS when I got home. Anyway got another super faint light pink line, and this was within the 3 minutes so def. not an evap line.

I'm that the lines keep getting darker over the next few days and praying for a sticky one
