    Honestly, if something goes wrong with my cakes now, I'm going to have to be admitted...I have never gotten a cake right since my beautiful sponge in year 10 home ec...and that was (ooer) 10 years ago! I'm sick of having to microwave cakes to sort out the middle. It's not the same.

    lol - how frustrating Nelle! At least you got the sponge right - so many Chefs I know still cant make a good sponge

    I'm scared to make another sponge Lime.

    I also got an oven thermometer, I've got some suspicions about my oven....

    Yeah I suppose I could get some lessons...
