Do you mean digital or analogue? I have a set of Salter ones too... love them... not digital (I'm too old fashioned for them)... piccy HERE. I've found them to be very accurate.

I like those scales Bath! I have the Tupperware scales. They do the job, but I do have to be careful what surface I put them on, they don't seem to like my chopping board even though it is big and flat.
Most people seem to have digital ones these days but i just don't trust them. Is that odd? I figure the more complicated (electronic) something is the more there is to go wrong... and what if society collapses and you lose a source of electricity? It's the same with ovens... I swoon over wood burning Agars... (does anyone know if there is a thread about them?).
I have the tanita scales. I love them. Around $50 i think. Bought online from peters of kensington......
I have had the Salter Aquatronic for about 3 years and love them. Have had no probs at all with them. They were $150 and still are but are often 30-40% off in post-Xmas sales.
LOL, you'd be swooning in my kitchen then.....love love love love it. I grew up with an aga at home, and learned how to cook on one, and since leaving home over 20 years ago have been lusting after one ever since...and finally I have one again!I swoon over wood burning Agars
My two cents worth - I got my digital scales from Big W for $15 and they work great! Imperial and metric, 1g increments and a tare function. Sweet!
