    Donna Hay Kid's Party magazine

Whilst in woolies today at the register, I saw there is now a Donna Hay magazine/annual (you know the types she puts out) for kids' parties. I didn't get to have a look at what it had in it, aside from no doubt all the usual beautiful stylised food photos you get from donna hay. Has anyone bought it? Is it any good?

I have just got back from the library, where I checked out another one of Donna Hay's annuals, kids' magazine, number six (from 2009), also a party issue. It has a rice bubble crackle cake on the cover (think an LCM cake!). Yum....

I bought this year's edition after seeing a friend's one from last year. It is good - I'm not a huge fan of the themes for this issue's parties but there are lots of good recipes and easy ideas for making something a little different.

I have tagged about 6 recipes to try for family dinners.

I must say though that I made the marshmallows and it didn't turn out at all. Might have just been me, but I have made them successfully with another recipe.
