i killed my sunbeam mix master while making arquenes birthday cakes a couple of weeks ago and now need to decide what one to buy to replace it.
so what do you have and how long have you had it(my mix master only lasted just under 5 yrs)
would you recomend yours
what dont you like about it what do you LOVE about it
i know what i would like to get but i need to get the whole family to put money in for my birthday again(i got a dyson last yr)
im having withdrawals with not being able to mix things with out lumps!!
It was exy but Dh bought it for me as a pressie with some unexpected vouchers he won at work.
I have used many different mixers (I used to work in commercial kitchens a lifetime ago) and the Kenwood is the closest thing I can use domestically that has the muscle I need!
My Mum had a Kenwood in the 1960's that she STILL uses to this day, so I reckon they last a lifetime!
ok cool! that one is a little bit out of my league! i could justify about $700 if i know it will last for ever(well almost) and has a decent motor and warrenty.
I have the Kenwood patissier mixer. Have only had it since my birthday in May, but I love it. It seems pretty sturdy and mixes well. I'm happy with it and DH did all the research about which one to choose for me, so he probably knows better than me why it's so good!!
