    I was also going to suggest Charmaine Solomon - I have 2 of hers and they are really good.

    ok im looking at charmaine on boarders but which one
    ETA or are the two displayed the same, just different covers for the hard cover and paperback

    The Complete Asian Cookbook is my fave. It has a pretty extensive selection of Indian, Sri Lankan and Pakistani....and Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Burmese, so heaps!
