because they won't work here...they are a different voltage...it is 110 volts...australian power runs on 240 volts....Overseas appliances won't work here, as soon as you plug it in you will blow the motor as well as fritz your safety switch. you can buy a power inverter to convert it but once you add the cost of that in it is just as cheap to buy an Australian voltage one here with a warranty.

You can buy the attachments there though and save some money, they will fit, just don't buy anything with an electrical motor from the US.
