Rice cookers?

No dishwasher here apart from me & DH don't own a metal scourer either but haven't needed to use it either as a short soak gets off the stuck rice

I've always had a similar problem with ours and while I always have rice stuck to the bottom I seem to only get the brown burnt rice if I leave it in the keep warm position for to long. I generally turn ours of and use it as soon as it switches from Cook to keep warm. This has stopped that problem for me.

We do the same as Melbourne mumma and flick it off at the power point once it goes from cook to warm. Seems to stop te bulk if the "burnt" rice ok the bottom.
