    It is January 2010.

I started 2009 weighing just over 85 kilos but with hard work and persistence got down to my goal of 70 kilos. I was able to run, swim and ride a bike without feeling out of breath and my flexibility improved out of sight. All my clothes looked better, too!

Now that I am pregnant I am gaining weight in a healthy manner. I am well on track to weighing less when I am full-term than when I began my weight loss journey in January 2009.

    Well I'm back....

Managed to avoid chocolate, in its entirety, for the whole four days! Woohoo!

I did have a few "oh $hit" moments, like 1/2 a donut (eeek), but mostly ate well. Didn't exercise much (read at all, apart from about an hour a day down the beach).

Goals this week (for the next 2 days LOL) Exercise at least 1/2 hour each day. Take the kids to the park. Get some "me-time", as I've been full time Mummying since Christmas and I'm beginning to get over it...

    Drink more water!

All the best to everybody... will do more catching up tonight when kid-free!

I'll do my measuring tonight and also take my before shots (which I will keep private for now). I'll be back tomorrow with official stats for Lucy.

I've been good today - got caught having to go to a business lunch and ordered a thai beef salad - I still don't have an appetite though so I barely ate half.

Has anyone else ever randomly lost their appetite completely?

It is Jan 2010 and I have just turned 30. I am staying in a flash hotel in Melbourne with my beautiful, supportive husband, surrounded by bags of new, much smaller clothes that I have just bought for myself. I am the lightest I have EVER been in my adult life and I am sooooo much healthier too. For the first time in my life I have made health and fitness goals that I have stuck to, and with my new fitter healthier body I completed my first fun run in 2009. Regular excercise and healthy eating habits are now a part of my everyday life. The road to get here has not been easy but with great effort comes great reward. I am proud of me!

Hi Ladies. Everyone is going amazing. The morning sickness has hit me shockingly. The vomiting started today, I hate it. I have been good, I haven't hadn't any juck food or takeaway, hey. Takeaway is my biggest downfall. I went into town today for lunch with a friend, she had mac's and I had a diet coke and a homemade tuna & salad wrap I brought with me. That is a very big step for me.

Lucy - Can I leave off the measuring and just do weight? I know my measurments are not going to get smaller, my pant have already gotten very tight but I'm sure I haven't put on any weight.

Is it too late for me to join this challenge?

I am 40kg heavier than when I met DP, was already 30kg overweight when i got pregnant with DS.

I have joined a gym which has free personal training and have been a few times so far. Going to build myself up to going every second day and every other day just going there to do cardio or going for a walk with Cooper (DS)

My biggest struggle is junk food.... it tastes so good and seems to be sooo much more convenient... wat takes less time.... opening a bag of chips or making a salad.

I really need alot of support... I want to be thinner... I want to be able to run around after Cooper.

I've found a good motivator for me is to put photos of DH and I when we first met on the fridge. That's when I was skinny and gorgeous and my ideal weight/dress size.

It makes me think twice about going to the fridge or the pantry - "Am I really hungry?"

Well my day is'nt going good, but not bad either, nothing really wrong just feel like I have'nt eaten enough good stuff, and certainly not enough water???
I think the biggest problem is I have'nt exercised today and i find I am thinking about the weigh in!!!! I feel like I can make it..... until I imagine how I will feel if I have'nt lost much weight or at all.
I am going to pull my socks up now and go and make tea and add loads of vegies and might try to go for a walk after that.

Oh I added a quick delicious recipe, all my friends love it and it takes 15 minutes from start to table.

Willl work on my affirmation, kind of know what I want but will have a good think about it, great idea.
Brainstorming, love the idea of a group activity eg: lucy's exercise routine nice to think most of us could fit it in on the same day. Or maybe we could go for a walk at a certain time lol.

blackduckies- That recipe is tops... still waiting for more people to add their fav diet recipe...

Being sick i so badly wanted to eat mashed tato... the best when ur throat is sore but i resisted all yesterday and today... for munch i had a delish soup which made my throat feel better. was going to have a salad wrap but though it'd be too hard to swollow. For tea i had a microwave tuna morney... it was ok but dont think it was the best choice... did some Wii fit but its like 38 degrees here and oh so sticky and hot... its past 6 and still hasnt eased up... I dont think i'll be walking tonight will get up tomorrow morning early... that my goal for the next 24 hours...at least a 30 min walk... might walk to the shop the long way with the kids... need milk so good excuse not to drive also...

A friend of mine is also trying to loose weight and she introduced me to a friend of hers also trying to loose weight... She's doing the Bubhub challange.. well we all got talking on MSN and showed pics of ourselves at our best and our worst so now were helping out each other which is great we all live far away from each other so no REAL contact or group working out but its just that EXTRA support...

Might Wii Fit once the kids are in bed... looked into the Wii fit new games... trying to find one in AUS but looks like there all in the US... Bugger i want a new game...

Or maybe we could go for a walk at a certain time lol.
I always walk on a Sunday at 8am. And Thursday nights at 7pm. Always. (I walk with a girl that I met in my personal training group. We yak our heads off for 5km!)

Are those times convenient for anyone else?

I cant stick to a particular routine with excercise... Would love too but with the 2 kids and a DP who's a shift worker our day is not the same twice... would make things easier if it were but isnt... i would love to get organised a bit better so i can get a morning walk in more often but it seems like when i'm ready the kids decide to sleep in... kids in bed now so time to Wii fit it again... Bye for now

I'II walk with you and your friend Lucy. Good to imagine others walking at the same time. Sometimes I might have to leave a bit earlier to fit in with feed times, but being so much fitter you"ll catch up.

I'd love to walk with you Lucy & Pam - but I'll have to walk earlier too as DS will be in bed.
Sounds like a good plan though.
Is anybody else a freak that dances around the house to music? Maybe we could all dance around to two songs a day, and change the songs once a week or something. Something easy that you can fit in rather than having to get out... if anyone kwim LOL!

    Hi there,

Start my healthy eating plan today. Had weetbix with skim milk this morning, had coffee and sour cream and chives rice cakes for morning tea x2. Then for lunch had another 2 rice crackers with tomato on it. Afternoon tea had a jasmine tea and a apple. For dinner we had grilled chicken breast marinated in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and rosemary and toss salad. Very nice, my other half had seconds, I had split the chicken breast into two, I had one the other half ate the rest. He is suppose to be on a healthy eating plan as well.

No exercise today, not feeling to crash hot. Maybe tomorrow. I weighed myself this morning 72.2kg. I have never been this weight before, I am always around the 65kg mark. So it's time for a chang for sure. I don't want to be like this next year. I want to be healthy and have more energy. Go into a shop and know that size 10 - 12 will fit instead of always wearing big clothes to hide my fat.

Oh and I had 1.5ltrs of water today as well.

    Too dools
    xx
