Don't forget that you need to have your first lot of results to me by tomorrow night to be added to the thread on Wednesday (but I wont be online till late Wednesday, so if a few of you are late it's ok :) ) I can't wait to see how well you have all done so far! And don't worry about the weight - put the scales away and only bring them out once each week. Some of you may not notice a huge difference on the scales, but your measurements will still be vitally important. Also your weight will fluctuate a little each week depending on where you are in your cycle and how much fluid you retain etc.

Well I'm getting into gear today! I was NOT in the headspace over the weekend, plus with mother's day. But now I'm in the zone! I've also been doing WW online (have lost 4.5 kgs already yippee!), but had gotten a bit slack over the last month or so, so I'm going to get back into that as well as doing this - to help give me a kick up the butt!
I'm another one that wants to get healthier before TTC later this year. I'm still feeding, so can't lose too quick, plus I had GD last preg (on insulin) so I'm really hoping to avoid that next time!
DH is also gonna join the healthy train today too yay! And my only frustration is that I've still got some problems that mean I can't do anything high impact... and I used to do triathlons (once upon a fit time ago)... so I really miss being able to run. But, I can walk (just can't do TOO much walking), cycle & Wii Fit. So that's me in a nutshell.

cookiemonster, yep it's Joshua and thanks for the birthday wishes :) we had a great time.
Anyway, girls, you may have read my other thread about me being pregnant, so I'm going to have to bow out of this challenge before we've even begun :( Well, actually if it's alright I might stick around and offer support. I will still be doing my pilates and will go back to aqua aerobics when my belly is a big bigger but I have to stop my aikido which is a bummer cause I was going for black belt at the end of the year. Not to worry though, I'd rather have a baby :D
I think the only measurements I'll keep track of are my upper arms and thighs. I'll only be about 12 weeks when we get married so hopefully not too much bigger than I am now, only have that wobbly after baby belly from last time. But at least I can try and make my arms look good lol

Hi girls, just thought I would share that I feel like I've been in the biggest looser over the weekend and today!... DH is landscaping and I have been shoveling dirt into the wheelbarrow on an off over 3 days Plus I did a workout on Sat so I'm feeling pretty good about myself and looking forward to weighing in tomorrow :p

Okay so i wanna say more but i am dead tired.
Up at 5am, at the boot camp by 6am... worked my arse off (my god it hurt) but was great. Then get to work by 8.30... didnt leave work till 4.30. *yawn*
I am just so very tired and starting to get sore. lol
So off to bed early for this little chicken.....

belfie good luck this week, I totally understand what you mean about not being in the zone. And it is hard to get back in it once you have lost it. Is DP/DH participating with you to hepl kick your butt?
Laranna please stay it will be great to have you to chat to and we can try and motivate you to keep eating healthy and keep the morning sickness at bay ;) It is such wonderful news and I bet you will look stunning on your wedding day no matter what! Are you going to keep bump a secret and tell everyone on the day?

papillon sounds like you did great, remember to keep walking during the day so the lactic acid doesn't settle in your muscles. If you have hand weights at home they can be good for expelling it from your arms, don't overdo it though!!!
as for me, we just had mexican barbacoa for dinner with rice and it was scrummy. really digging this healthy eating. took a long walk before and i did a quick few stepups when we got home, the some skipping as well. boy skipping takes it out of you what a workout!!! my lappy power has broken so the only way for me to talk is now the PC which means Ill probably spend less time on here and more time skipping and cycling, :hooray:.
sort of semi looking forward to weighing in tomorrow, more about the measuring though!

Hoping my ridiculously good eating will have paid off this week (despite going to a baby shower with chocolate galore and cherry ripe cheese cake I was sooo good) because I have been striken with a naaaaasty flu and haven't been able to excercise. Getting out of bed or breastfeeding is challenging enough. Maybe will have lost a couple of hundred grams in snot though. (Aren't I gross)
Aaaah, well, I feel good so hoping to see SOME results.

Aw thanks cookie :) I don't know if I'll be able to keep the secret for that long. Although, it would be very cool to announce it to everybody at the wedding. We may just tell our families first and then everyone else at the wedding.
That's a great idea about the eating ;) It made me think that we should all eat as if we are pregnant then we will avoid the naughty stuff :)

Morning ladies YAY our first 'weight in' so to speak I've gotta say that I had a pretty dismal weight loss and cm loss :rolleyes: BUT on the BCM I have lost fat, gained muscle (which is heavier) and I had a fair bit more fluid than usual so all in all I'm pretty happy. Good luck everyone, can't wait to see who this weeks winner is :clap:

Hi everyone- i am going to have to officially pull out.. i havent been able to get any scales :( They were too expensive to buy - but i will still be following this thread and i am still going to do my walking and try and eat a bit better- and i will just judge myself by how well my clothes start to fit again whether i am loosing weight.
Trillian- do i need to PM you to officially pull out?

StarBright - why don't you stay with us and just go by cm loss? That way you can have a better indidcation of how you are going. Tape measures aren't as expensive as scales if you don't already have one.
AFM - not a great weight loss but I did lose some cm and am back to the gym and jogging for the first time since before I got pregnant so I am getting fitter which is a good thing!

Cherry ripe cheesecake sounds wayyyy too tempting sas work got me hooked on apply crumble cheese cake, its AMAZING! None of that for me for a while hehe. Fingers crossed you got the results you wanted.

in a nutshell, me getting sick, very grumpy, don't want to weigh in. Bout to go back to bed but will make self weigh first. think i've prolly put on weight. But DH weighed self this mronign and he's horrified, so much motivation in this household!

StarBright I agree with Nai :) stick around and just do your measurments :) I don't even have a tape measure! I have been usinig fishing wire and than measureing that against a builders tape measure :rofl: I think I will buy a sewing tape measure soon though hehehhe

Crappy weight loss here (plus i just got AF this morning!) but i think i did ok with the cm lost!
I will PM Trill now with my stats.
I can't believe I did 30mins straight on the bike last night, I'm going to split it today though into 2 X 15min sessions!
I think if we beg hard enough CQ might be able to help us out with an at home work out to help tone our arms, belly, bum and legs!

Well i have sent of my measurements. Dismall weigt loss but ok cm lost. Pretty happy seeing as i haven't really started exercising yet. First gym session today, planning on going to a class. I have a friend coming along and our motivation is to look good in swimmers before the kids start swimming lessons. Her dd is a month younger than ds do i have two months! Dunno if i will be able to walk tomorrow, already told dh that he might need to take tomorrow off to look after ds and i but he said that his wife being unfit is not a reason to miss work :ROFL:
MK I think CQ is busy at the moment with moving house as she promised to give me some tips in a thread i had here a couple weeks agao but she hasn't managed to get online yet. But i agree, CQ help us!
Cherished1 thats what i am doing with the measurements using string and builders tape. :ROFL: do yu think its time to invest in a tape measure?? he he

Hmmm I had a weight gain and I'm not happy about that, but I had a feeling that I would. My oldest DS was taken to hospital on Mother's Day night after knocking himself out so we were there for 4hrs and we had crappers(maccas) for dinner on the way home and when I'm stressed I eat, I've had him home yesterday and today so am trying to eat better and exercise again.
I did lose some cms though so that is good.
Ali yay for been able to TTC #3 at the end of the year, that will be great :)
Laranna congrats on the pg.
