I think it sounds about right, everything in moderation.
Wish I hadnt of however, my crux with chocolate is that if it is in the house it is convenient. Ridiculous but oh well.
I am not going to feel guilty for my mistakes, there are several problems with the old lifestyle and one of those was lack of exercise. I have been doing that day by day so if the cutting chocolate part takes longer then so be it I guess. The rest of our eating has been superhealthy so that is something to be proud of.
Now I have to focus on keeping up the exercise and healthy eating while AF is here. And avoid having an emotional, turn-to-food day tomorrow  I have my appointment with the surgeon and it's going to be interesting to find out how long I will have to wait and how much I am putting myself into debt. At least I can go in there proud that I am changing my exercise and dietary habits (slowly but surely) so that after the op when I am backpainless I can lose the rest of the weight :)
Sorry for the incessant me rable, am a bit nervous.
Sorry cookie what is your surgery for? If you dont mind me asking.
A reverse boob job ;)
Breast Reduction :)
Oh i need one of those but im just going to wait and see if they go down as i lose weight, goodluck!!
Cookie - chocolate is not bad for you, it is the sitting down and doing nothing whilst eating it that is bad, bad, bad, oh so bad!
I thought the results might be up.....NOT looking forward to mine at all.:redface::rolleyes:
Cya!
Haha Vix I tried to make up for it with some extra exercise today.
My BUM hurts so you can probably guess what I have been doing ;)
I get so bored on the exercise bike though, music and all. According to it I just burnt 150 calories but I don't trust it too much, has been out in the rain for months and is probably damaged
I tried to do some skipping afterwards but my legs kept slacking so I'll leave my skip for after my walk.
Oh, aamy if you already need one don't get pregnant! Mine went from a 12E-14DD to an 18J... which over the last week appears to be coming a 16 which would make it a K... I don't lose bust weight ever so I got over waiting!
Where is everyone? Maybe I need to stop talking . I just know if I don't post often I will totally slack out.
thing is, as soon as you get a reduction you look thinner all over :) so it's win-win :)
Trillian's mailbox is still full and I can't PM her, is it just me with probleems?
Wow they are large! And i agree it has been quiet in here today, dont stop chatting hehe gives me distractions from work!
You can email her Kaz - she said she is out today so she might not know the inbox is full either. sherie at bellybelly blah blah blah.

I have got to get my (__|__) butt on the bike again tonight!
I lost 3cm of my bust, 3cm of my belly and 4cm of my hips!!!
thanks ash, had forgotten her email addy. reckon we'll have a new thread for week 2?
MelanieKate - that's great hun! Well done!
Oh MK that is FANTASTIC!@!! Way to go babe!!!
Mine was 1-3-4 same order as yours :)
And yup, I'd say a new thread will happen, at some point LOL!
Cookie, boy I thought mine were huge (16F), I'm trying to wait and get mine done after I've finished having kids and b/fing, but good on you, I feel your pain :).
Not much else going on, did food shopping today and have walked kids to and from school, am going to get on the eliptic (sp?) thingy soon before dinner. It will be good to see the percentages when Trillian puts them up.
GO TEAM!!!!
wow some tremondous cms lost - well done - will be interesting to see overall once Trillian puts them up - sounds like a lot of hard work has been happening.
after a keen start i dropped off as AF arrived and woolies had mars on special - hopefully this week will be better - must exercise!!!
The results are in!!! I have updated the first post with all your results for this week. I decided to drop the amount lost from each week and only post the percentage and centimeters lost and just do a total loss at the end so that you don't feel disheartened by what you do or don't lose each week as some of you may not have lost any %, but you lost cm's, so I think that's a better way to show the results over the course of the challenge.
But either way we have all done awesomely!!!! Well done to all of us and I think we all deserve a pat on the back for our efforts!
I will also put in my signature the weekly challenge so if you don't see it in here, you will see it about the place in my sig. Now you don't have to do this, at all, but it's just something to keep you motivated and a direction to focus on for the week.
So this week's challenge will be to take your favourite recipe and make it low fat, or as low fat as you can get it! Have fun experimenting in the kitchen with your fave dish and make it into something you have still enjoy, not something you have to cut out.
PS, I have also cleared my inbox for pms ;) LOL. Sorry about that!
Is the CM lost a % as well?
No, the cm's lost is just that on it's own, not a percentage.
darn, I lost more weight than cm! Still waiting for my tax refund / krudd money to get a WII :(
hmmm challenge ....
Thanks Trill :)
Ahh ok then i am confused because I lost 1-3-4 (bust-waist-hips) which is 8 ...
Sorry thats why I am confused!
Thanks for posting the results Trillian. I am a little confused also like Cookiemonster I lost in cm 2-2-3 (bust, tummy, hips)
I love the idea of weekly challenges. I will have to think of ways to cook my normal meals a little healthier.
Is the cm an average or just the waist or something?? Because I lost 3 all up, 1 off waist, 2 off bust, (maybe more, I am never sure I've got the tape right) and it says 1, not that it really matters. Am more going by the scales and when I can fit back into my old jeans!!! (Hopefully sooner rather than later - I only have a couple of pants that fit because I REFUSE to buy more size 14 clothes - it feels like I would be saying it's ok not to lose the weight because now you have enough nice clothes to wear KWIM)
I was a little naughty for dinner tonight. Had gnocchi (which is too heavy for me to have in the evenings) and 2 scotch finger biscuits (empty calories) and am still too sick to excercise without getting dizzy so can't even burn it off. Tut Tut. Must get back on the horse.
Edit - Sorry, can see other people have already asked about the cm's
Been super busy and a bit sick here, dp is going away and got a migrane. I haven't done any exercise since last week and I have been super slack in the food department in the last day or 2 but after seeing my own and everyone else results I think it has given me the motivation to get back on the wagon.
Love the idea of the weekly challenge Trill, will get onto it and look forward to sharing my creation and reading about everyone else's.
oooh this is soooo gonna help my motivation!
I've been crook (cold & bad tummy) the last few days, like a few others here. I weighed half a kilo lighter by the end of yesterday woo hoo... just have to keep it off for next Tues now!
You guys are losing some great amounts. I clocked in with 1 whole centimetre, so just gotta be grateful that something's gone! Have resolved to do Wii Fit or a walk tomorrow.
sas85 - I'm with you on refusing to buy more clothes. Keep telling myself that I've got great clothes in the smaller sizes... that'll be my reward.
Hah, I have five tshirts and two pairs of pants that fit at the moment. I refuse to buy clothes. I also have no clothes in smaller sizes so am looking forward to the shopping spree when i can refill the tattered wardrobe i thre out when i put on the first 10kg in pregnancy!
Sorry to hear you are not feeling well, good luck over the next week!
thanks cookie - and I was interested to read about what you said re getting a reduction. You have my sympathy, cos I hate having big BB's. I reckon if the girls are big, it does make SUCH a difference with how you look overall. Mine are bigger than I'd like, and they're "only" DD/E. Plus I'm a shortie, so it doesn't help. I bought a sports bra, and it really held them in - I looked like I'd lost 5kg instantly, it was such a lovely moment lol!
That is such a pain re the clothes. One of my goals is to get back into my older clothes before I have to go back to work . No way I want to buy new work clothes just for part-time work!!!!
and thanks for the sympathy, I have been feeling like total sheeeeet but think/hope I'm on the up now.
Hrmmmm, I lost 3.5cm by my calculations, was just wondering why it was only 1.5??
Oh dear gawd......look at my results. Must step up the anti this week. was goingto walk down to the post office with DS#1 walking and the youngest in the pram but mightnow put them in the double pram -as much as I hate it - and push both there and back!
MK - what an awesome loss...:clap:
Well done to everyone who showed a loss. WELL DONE, BRAVO!!!!!! now drop and give me 20....lol!!!
I lost 1cm off my boobs! Of all places...meh!
I was watching the Today show this week and they had a health expert on there (foody) and she said the top 5 superfoods for helping you lose weight are -
1) Eggs..I presume not fried either.
2) Dairy foods - low in fat ones
3) Nuts - raw though - blerk!!! lol She mentioned you will find it hard to fill up on raw nuts.
4) Turkey - cheaper, low in saturated fat.
5) avocado - best kinds of fats in it and heaps of fibre too.
Just thought I would share that.
And....I have been having cereal or toast with Pro-active on it (I have gall stones:wall:) plus a piece of fruit or yogurt for morning teaand I massive salad for lunch. Arvo tea if I remember is yoghurt or fruit, sometimes a naughty biscuit and dinner is dinner! Have cut out dessert and stopped picking throughout the day. Drinking 2L of the good stuff and having 3 coffees plus atea after lunch....why do I keep getting giddy in the late arvo???????
Okay, off to get the kids ready.
xxxx
Good job ladies; i just looked at the results!!
ooo evil woolies jaspen, did they have it right near the registers...i always see that, a huge chocolate bin right near the express line lol
I hope you get well soon sas and get back on the wagon so to speak hehe although i kinda had a piece of white chocolate mudcake at a bbq the other night which i found out has like 600 calories in one slice argh. On the same page re clothes tho, i have the mindset i dont want to spend all this money on a new wardrobe when im just going need new ones after losing weight hmm now to the losing weight part ...
Thats good info there vix thanks, i always like getting tips and hints from other people, sounds like your meals are sorted! Good job =D
AFM: Looking forward to these weekly challenges...I got onto taste.com.au and you can do a search on recipies i put in low fat low carb and found a lot of yummy ideas, so am trying out those at the moment. They are on a trial and error basis at the moment hehe if they are yucky the recipe is thrown and yummy kept hehe. Off to brave late night shopping tonight and purchase a Wii!!! Yay. Super excited. Im hoping to get up earier in the mornings and do an hour or so on the wii fit ... key word HOPING. Its been way too damn cold lately!
an hour earlier for me would be 4:30am! ERK!
Well done on the losses ladies :)
For clothes, well I'm just having to buy cheapo clothes for work and when I lose the weight I'll be able to fit back into my designer labels :D
Ran a workshop yesterday and my el cheapo pants are a bit loose around the waist, it appears that a lot of senior management are well aware that I wear bright pink & orange bonds undies ... DOH! So need to get a smaller size, yay! But still bigger than I want :(
Hi ladies and well done to everyone  Like many of you I am a little confused with the % weight loss & the cm lost? I was very dishartened to see that my weight loss was nothing 0 :( Kind like the week meant nothing.... Even though I didn't loose much (only 300grams) it is a bit depressing to see 0 in that catagory. I look forward to Trillians post re the cm lost I also lost 2 cm all up but only recorded 1?
Well done again everyone :)
Cherished everyones kg lost is 0, as Trillian is only going to show the weight lost at the end of the 12 weeks. Still not sure about the cms though :dunno:. Don't be disheartened, keep up the good work.
Ahhhhhhh.... now I get it, I'm such a ning nong  heheheh, maybe if I read the posts properly I would have seen that! Thanks Amanda ;)
Now I'm confused, I thought she was listing % of kg lost? Some people definitely have a % loss recorded?
cherished1 - it might be that your 300gm loss did average down to be 0% for this week (as I don't think she's going to decimal places which is where it would probably show), but it'll all help come next week! Just think onward & upwards!
I went for a walk today as my tummy bug & cold seem to be on the mend. 20 mins and I was absolutely stuffed! Then I had a lovely banana/raspberry smoothie with just a smidge of drinking chocolate in it for that extra little kick. It was yummo!
just a quick self indulgent post if I may - for the first time in a very long time my digital scales were able to actually show me a number for % body fat rather than just "Err h" or "error too high". that means I'm making progress at last - yeh!!!! now one must pick up on exercise and hopefully some more improvement is to come
Cherished - don't be disheartened by the conversion of 0.3kg into 0% it will add in next week and I'm sure you'll have a higher number there. .3kg is a nice healthy weight loss too - my understanding is a nice steady reduction is more likely to be sustainable.
belfie - great discipline going for the walk even though you aren't feeling 100% - hope your bug continues to leave you to help with motivation to exercise.
hope everyones had a good couple of days since weigh in and is gliding towards the weekend with tonnes of motivation to eat well, exercise regularly and indulge only a smidge (i agree with ali I can't cut out indulgences completely or I go off the rails faster than I got on)
Tril did you get my stats I emailed you and pmed you!
I ate pizza and garlic bread last night.
I feel so ashamed. I've only been to the gym once this week.
I am so naughty.
Morning ladies;
Good on your belfie for getting back into the swing of things!!
Seems a lot of you have quietened (sp?) down; i hope youre all still around!!
I got a Wii and Wii Fit last night, just started setting up my profile this morning will finish when i get home from work yayy so much fun ! I really hope i stick with it  lol AF is in full force atm, evil lady so not feeling too motivated, although my new toy (wii) is keeping me interested hehe
Have a good day ladies
I have been a bit housebound this week with a sick snotty 3yo so haven't been able to exercise as much as I would like :( I have tried to be good but ate a bowl of ice-cream with aktavite last night - my throat was feeling a bit sore and I thought it might help
Turkish - We have pizza night every Tuesday night and I'm not worried. We order from a gourmet place with 1/2 prices on Tues, and their pastry is not all greasy like like some places where even the box gets all grease on the bottom (ech!), so I just switched to thin crust and cut out any fatty meats off the top, cut the garlic bread and count slices. Good pizza is actually not any worse for you then any other dinner in moderation. Don't beat yourself up about it, but maybe cut the g bread next time. :D
Am putting off housework. Baby is sleeping, it's really what I should be doing, naughty me wasting time on BB. Have kicked my flu, yay, feel post-flu lethargic - starting to excercise properly again is NOT going to be fun.
