well done everyone on a brilliant week
I am having a rotten week. I've been a bit emotional and have turned to food (even refusing to track my diary online because I am ashamed)
but that was yesterday...today WILL be better :D

Hi team do you mind if I join in? I have 20 kg's of baby weight to loose and would like all the support and encouragement I can get. There's 7 weeks till christmas so I'd like to loose at least 5kg by then. After heaps of thought I have decided to do Jenny Craig as I wont need to think about what I'm going to eat or cook while looking after my newborn. After I've lost most of my weight on JC I might look at weight watcher for a more long term maintenance approach, I will see how I go. In the BB christmas challenge last year I lost 7kg by myself calorie counting but it was a fair effort calculating everything which I just don't have time for now but boy oh boy was I proud of myself  so I hope to feel the same satisfaction this christmas even though I'll be no where near the end goal weight at least it will be a good start.
Exercise wise I will be aiming to go for a walk most days with ds in the pram and when it gets a little warmer and ds fits into the swim gear I bought him I'll be going to the beach and the pool with dh & ds. I also have a home gym so I will try to work out in it a few times a week while either dh looks after ds or ds can watch me in his swing (I think he'll like that). I've also got a good treadmill in my home gym so even if it's raining there are unfortunately no excuses!
Of course you can hun.... :welcome:
Looks like your setting yourself some realistic goals and i'm sure you'll find the motivation you need.
I am LOVING taking my girls for walks with Kate and her DD, i actually like it and so do my girls now.. it's great
Hi cherished1! Congratulations on the birth of your little man! I've known people who have done Jenny Craig with huge success, but their consultant has said exercise is the key. My mum lost 12kg with them and all she did for exercise is walk every day. Good luck and we're here to cheer you on!
ZF - Are you and Kate walking on Friday? Can I join you? BOM says 22!
Not 100% sure yet but if we are will let you know, hopefully we can if the weather is good.
Might do a walk then come home and finish packing before i go away sat.
I had the most delicious cheese and veg omelette for lunch, having a good day today :D
ok so home alone today, almost finished unpacking :)
being very good but have to remember to have my snacks otherwise i get cravings :(
no exercise today so far, but unpacking so fingure im not sitting on my but
I'm struggling already this week. Stupid AF is making things harder, then ontop of that I've had really bad hayfever so I am trying not to go outside since that's making it worse. Looks like no walking for me. ( Nothing I take ever helps my hayfever either. :()
Not high hopes for this week so it may only be a little loss, if a loss at all. :dunno:
Anyone elses AF make everything turn to crap? Loll
Hi Cherised1. :hello:
I have AF at the moment and it's for longer than usual (1st one since mirena) i feel a bit bloated but am actualyl finding the exercise is helping.
Went for another walk with kate today, rough 3.4km but was a lot more PRAM FRIENDLY this time round and we didn't stop as much, maybe next time we can do a bigger loop.
yeh AF always upsets me
last month with Nuva Ring then back on the pill, that will be interesting
Yuck, i am not looking forward to my first AF after bub was born. I can feel it coming soon. I get the worst cramps and bloating.
AF doesn't bother me that much since I'm on the pill and only lasts 3 days (yay me!). Also, I find that exercising helps with the pain (or at least I'm concentrating on the exercise rather than the pain). But heyfever sucks! Hope it'll pass soon, hun!
AFM, had a salad for lunch and an apple as a snack. Been walking up and down stairs all day at uni. I really hope this week is gonna be a bit better.
Good Luck everyone!! And welcome cherished1!!!
:hello: Hello and thanks for the welcome ZF, PacRak, Jewel & Raupe :bluecheer: It's lovely to know I can count on you BB gals for support!
PackRak that's great feedback on JC I so hope I have good results and a few big losses between now and Christmas.
Jewel I haven't got AF obviously but I know when I was loosing my 7kg last christmas each time I had AF I would either have a gain or no loss but hey the overall results were worth pushing on ;)
I just got back from a walk with DH & DS in the pram. DH did all the pushing and it was only a 20min walk and a slow one at that but I think easy does it over the 1st week to get my body into the swing of things.
Man ive had a bad day. I didn't get to the gym today because my legs are still sore from yesterday AND i indulged on rocky road. GAH! I hope this doesn't affect my weight loss too much :(
Jewel - I hear you on not being able to take anything for hayfever. I took antihistimines for it a while ago, and they gave me heart palptations so I've been too scared to try anything since! Hope you feel better soon.
Off for my walk in a little bit. Yesterday I had my cereal, a banana, kiwi fruit, a wrap for lunch, and one cracker. Dinner was marinated drumsticks x 2 (not the little ones, the normal sized legs) and cous cous. And a Freddo. I thought about the Freddo for ages and then realised that I was obsessing, so I had it....but I made sure I enjoyed it. Today I feel a bit blah. Know that I'll get on the scales on Monday and they'll laugh at me.
Mmmmh, could do with a freddo right now! hehe
Well after eating salads for dinner for three nights straight, DP INSISTED we'll have something else. He was craving lasagne, BAD! So I made us lasagne, but I made it MY way :D We used wholemeal pasta sheet, I used 1/2 low fat mince and 1/2 veggies (grated zucchini and carrots), some tomatoes and kidney beans, onion, garlic, beef stock and plenty of herbs! Instead of cheese sauce I added some light sour cream on top (:o damn, that's good!) and grated a tiny amount of low fat cheese on top. And you know what? he LOVED it! (and so did I) It was just as good as the "original" lasagne I used to make. The zucchini really takes on the flavour of the meat. So overall, although I ate lasagne, I was still happy with my efforts. Yay, I'm proud of us!! DP HATES carrot and zucchini, so I'm proud that he was brave enough to try. It's so much easier when you have support...
Can I join you as well!!! Even thought I go to Travellers house and we talk weight loss.. I would like to write it down!
Sure you can!!! Welcome Didispunk! Just pm Zarava Flutterby you details (doesn't have to be kg, can be general goals as well!) so she can 'officially' add you to the list! :D
Welcome didispunk :D
I had a good day yesterday, until bedtime when I decided cookies would be a good idea :( Plus I haven't been able to get to the gym all week due to feeling crook and tonight DH will be late home from work tonight so I can't go again.
However I am still feeling positive. Bad weeks will happen, I will still start every day aiming for a good day :D
Raupe........*INSERT DROOL SYMBOL HERE*...YUMMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
;) Thanks!! It was noice :D Salad for dinner tonight was nice, too, though!
Didn't get to the gym yesterday but went today. Only managed 8.5km on the bike but did a 3km walk. Gotta stop going at night and go during the day. Im too tired when i get there and can't do much.
Eating is going ok. Haven't had take out which is a good thing for me. Only been drinking water too and that's a massive improvement.
no probs didspunk, just PM me your details.
I will update the 'participants' list a little later.
Last night we had our nieces birthday, mmm PIzza & Cake.. but you know what i had 1 glass of coke and the rest was water and birthday's are a part of life and i am ALLOWED to enjoy myself so i don't feel guilty at all.
Today i am going for a walk with Kate & PacRakMG so i will work it off anyway
Then home to do some cleaning and stuff before we head away tomorrow.
Antheia - YAY on no take out.. keep up the GREAT work
Traveller - meh some cookies.. YUM i would have too :)
My new jeans don't fit any more - they are far too big! Yay!
Now need to try and find money for new ones, and hopefully sell my barely worn ones for a decent price.
 Good job, Traveller!!
Thanks :D I'm not going to buy any more just yet, in case I go down another dress size. That would make me in single digits!:o
:o Wow. That's so cool!
Had a great walk with even better company this morning, Kate & PacRakMG you two are AWESOME... less stopping than normal, the kids had a nice play at the park and we walked roughly 4.92km..
Am looking forward to going away this week, hopefully having a walk every day and not worrying about DP being around
I will be able to update stats from there and once all the kids are in bed i will be able to spend LOTS of time browsing BB without DP pestering me.. so look out.. i WILL be finding motivational things to cheer us all on.. pmsl.
Hehe i wrote roughly as it was worked out on that runkeeper thing and well i can't say it's EXACT so it's roughle 4.92  hahaha
Good work guys! Well, after a week of holiday excess I have decided I will make a commitment to use myfitnesspal for this next week and stick to my calorie count. I have done absolutely no exercise this week beyond a little bit of swimming, I have no idea where the time went!
I thought it might be something like that! :D I just like pulling ya chain! hehe I'm just a cheeky monkey :p Glad Your walk went well.
AFM, I hope this suuuper slow snail in my ticker will move a bit further next weigh-in. It's been sitting at the same spot for aaaaaages. Go snail go!!! :whip: Move your little snaily butt!
work bbq today. ugh.
tired to get to the gym but by the time both boys were asleep it was too late.
Went to investigate a gym closer to home, but found out they close at 830 on weeknights, which is usually around the time i get there.
otherwise has been good although Ive only managed to get to the gym twice this week so far, will go at least once over the weekend.
I hae a free 5 day trial at the closer gym (830 closing one) so I will go tomorrow and see what its like.
Traveller when I saw you the other day wearing them... I said too big!! great job honey!!! xoxo
We leave to go away today, i would normally get Macca's on the way down there but i wont, if we leave around the right time we will be in Gippsland in time to have lunch, i will take one of my special K bars and a bottle of water with me and i might buy a cheese & crackers pack at the servo (it's a 2hr drive and quiet boring)
Am planning on going for a walk EVERY day with the girls while in gippy, maybe even twice a day if we pick the boys up from school etc and the weather is ok.
Don't have a lot of cash at the moment so thats GREAT incentive to stay at home and eat fruit etc rather than go out for coffee's etc and catch up with all my mates over crappy food.
Hoping to give the girls LOTS of plays at the big park and stuff aswell so i am REALLY looking forward to it.. not sure if my dad & sm have scales so will be interesting.
GL everyone, i will be doing the updates monday!

morning team :cheer: :bluecheer: hope you are all having a great morning so far (I'm sure you'll all up exercising) lol not me though! I have a great night with bubs last nigh only getting up twice so I should have the energy to go for a walk with the pram a bit later. I started JC yesterday and it was great. way more food than what I have been eating and I really liked everything I ate so I'm really happy and think I am going to achieve my goal for sure :D I'm looking forward to weighing myself on Monday to see how much I have lost in only a few day, hopefully there is at least a couple hundred grams to record.
