I'm craving everything. Even a sandwich would suffice but i can't even have that.

Antheia, that's rough. Hope the cravings back off. You're doing really well

Today I'm exhausted. I feel like I've just hit a wall and am trying to get through it. I walked this morning, went to my mum's this afternoon to help entertain my niece and then did the grocery shopping on the way home. So I'm going to "try" and get an early night to bed, I'm bailing out on the walk with ZF and Kate tomorrow (sorry girls ) and hopefully feel a little more energetic.

Antheia are you having the chromium ( I used blackmores sugar balance when I did tf) and eating all of the allowed food?

Antheia, when I was on shakes (many moons ago) we were allowed a cup of veggies a day. I think that kept me sane, because you can finally 'bite' something. Are you allowed some veggies?

Hi guys, hope your week is going well!

Antheia- hope those cravings disappear, i did shakes once but could only manage 2 meals per day (breakfast and lunches) and then had anything i wanted for dinner- probably not the point! LOL.

PRMG- Hope your energy levels pick up for you soon

Pandora- fingers crossed for you Sounds like you are on track!

Raupe- what did you end up having for dinner? Something yummy i am sure! What are you studying at uni? I only just finished the end of last year after soooo many long years studying! I think i am about ready to go back again, it feels a bit weird not having something due or something i should be reading!

ZF- mmm, i used to love those lattes! I can't have them anymore because of DS's reflux, they seem to really aggravate it Probably a good thing i guess, in the past i have tended to rely on caffeine as an appetite suppressant and lived on diet coke and coffee- not very healthy!

AFM- Having a good exercise week, everything going to plan so far! Eating not so great, but i have been reading a lot about emotional eating which i think is helping me a little. I don't want to rely on willpower (as i have none whatsoever), so am thinking more about why i want to eat something rather than focusing on what i want to eat. Successfully bypassed KFC on my way home from the gym tonight (saw an ad on tv before i left which got me thinking i would like some even though i usually hate it and never go there!). Had a sneaky peak on the scales and things are looking back on track

appletree, i only have the shakes and breakfast and lunch and then a protein and veg for dinner. Thats what the meal plan says to have. So it's not too bad.

I feel ok now. Must have just been one of those days I guess.

Appletree: I had some homemade sweet chilli and lime nutmeat burgers (veggo) in the freezer that I made a few days ago. So I made those, as it was the easiest! I like to have at least one or two vegetarian days a week, so I've become quite creative when it comes to vegetarian meals! I will cook up a nice soup soon, though! ZF got me interested in soup now! Hehe

What did you have for dinner?

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to add, I'm doing my Bachelor of Business in Tourism Management (three year course). I'm in my last year now!

hope it's not too late to join in...I joined the last challenge earlier in the year and failed miserably at that, so here I am for take 2..lol. Will have to jump on the Wii Fit scales later, I'm too scared to take measurements..lol. I'm still carrying all the weight I gained being pg with DD, I don't think I lost anything after she was born! I've been walking every day (having a dog makes for great motivation!) but it hasn't been enough because I don't think I've lost anything and I'm getting sick of looking at my disgusting lumpy body. Especially my tummy which makes me look like I'm about 6 months pg (only not a nice tight baby bump, just a floppy lump..).
So I've decided I need to do more, and try and get this weight off and be happy with my body. I know it's never going to be the same again, but at least I will be able to 'make do' rather than being disgusted and feeling down every time I look at it.
My biggest downfall is probably snacking- biscuits/chocolate. So I'm making an effort to not buy any crap when I go shopping, so at least if I have a craving it isn't in the house. It's also hardest when DD is asleep, i think because I don't have to worry about her wanting what I'm eating, or what to do with her while I go and get something because she is quite clingy.
Going to get some nice fruit this afternoon so I can snack on that instead of unhealthy food!
Have also started recording 'My Workout' on Austar, and once we're back from our morning walk (which I've been trying to get more out of by running a little bit as well, although it's hard with a 4 wheeler pram..lol, and walking faster rather than just strolling along. Am embracing the few hills we do have too!) and DD is in her high chair with some morning tea I go through one (sometimes two if DD is being good) of the sessions. Bought some cheap dumbells from Go-Lo to go with that. I haven't done very well with it lately, one week I think I only did it one day, but am trying to do it at least 3-4 times/week.

Fingers crossed I can get my body back!

Welcome ss_storm! Good luck with your weightloss!

ZF: Poo! That sucks! I hate when that happens. Sowwy you have to type it all up again

AFM: Went shopping today (so heaps of walking hehe), bought some gorgeous red shoes for my new dress that I got three weeks ago. They are soooo perdy! When I first bought the dress (super pretty, too), I couldn't quite zip it up. Well, I *could*, but then fat would have squished out on all sides. It was the biggest size in the shop (18), but I wanted it SOOO BAD! So I bought it anyway (norti me ) So today I tried it on, and guess what: IT FITS!! Wooohooo! See DP, it wasn't crazy after all! There! Awsome! So I'm gonna wear it tonight to DP's uncle's B-day party. I haven't felt that pretty in a long time. What a confidence boost!

That is AWESOME Raupe!! Well done Bet you look stunning, hope you have a fabulous night!! Your burgers sound great, can you share the recipe? We had soft shell taco's tonight and they were yummy!! I had my first mango of the season too, which was just delicious. Hooray for almost being at the end of your degree, very exciting! What do you want to do when you finish?

Welcome ss_storm!! I am exactly the same about sleep times, they are one of my biggest weaknesses! It is a real trigger for me, as soon as the kids are asleep my first thought is 'what can i eat?'. If you have a good strategy for me to try i will do my best to go for a week with no sleep time snacks with you? Something i used to do when out walking with the kids was to go to our local oval and park the pram and use it as a spot to do intervals from, each time i would run to a point and then run back to the pram, run a little bit further along and then run back and keep going for as long as i could get away with before DS cottoned on that the pram wasn't moving anymore! Also, i think pushing a pram on grass is harder than pavement so you might burn more calories?

AFM- had a great time at pilates and zumba last night, it was so funny when during pilates this really snooty cow who was beside me farted during one of the exercises where you have to balance with your legs apart in the air! Hahaha, loved it! Zumba was heaps of fun, i think i am kind of getting the hang of it now! Workout this morning was also great, did 2k elliptical rider (15 mins), 5x weights at 5kgs heavier than normal and then a 20k bike ride, my longest ever! I did it in just over 40 mins, which i think is a decent time?
