Hey Kel (and Danielle)! I have a fair bit more than both of you to lose but I'm after a buddy. Wanna exchange email / mobile numbers and text / harrass each other ? I think I might be a bit overzealous going for 89.9 before NYD, so I'll go with 93.9! We can hold each other accountable?

1% of your body weight per week is reasonable so keep that in mind. And wiifit says no more than 1.4kg per fortnight or it will cause weight rebound.

I have a weightloss blog too, but i just deleted most of the posts because it was for me and i felt like i was filtering it LOL. Time to be honest!!
Sure hun! I'll PM you now I so need someone to kick my butt into gear!!!!

Woohoo, I have buddies I didn't expect that, I was just writing to try to help with some motivation, but I am more than happy to have people to keep me going!! Yay!

Ausgirl, congrats on your weight loss! You are going great guns!! Maybe 8kgs in 10wks is too much....we'll see. I will keep it there, but be happy with any loss!

Danielle, yay, someone to motivate me!! And I will nag you too Have you got my number? I will pm you now anyway.

Ash, welcome on board! I will be more than happy to exchange numbers and be your motivation I know how hard it can be, working, babies, house, hubby.....so eay to get a tub of icecream for dinner for yourself! Well, that's what I do on my worst days. And DH is my enabler. I will pm you now too.

Woohoo! I'm excited, lol! Though, ask me again in a week and I might not be so cheery! I am going to try to do the couch to 5km run. I am so not a runner and never have been, but have always wanted to be, lol. So I am going to try it. Ok going to go and make a healthy breaky!

I am sneaking in too.... I have 10kgs to loose. I am 73kgs and would be delighted if I could loose 5 kgs by xmas time. I can do it. I got dh to fix up my push bike. I am starting water aerobics once a week. I wanted to buy a bike trailer so I could take the kids on a ride with me...otherwise I would have to get up at the crack of dawn...unlikely! I have decided to have 1 naughty day a week with chocolate. Drink loads of water and eat more raw food.

I also decided that once I get to 70kgs I will treat myself with an hoour massage.
If I hit 67kg around xmas...shopping spree and another massage!

The only thing that might hold me back is if I fall pg.....will be trying after Novemeber though so gives me a month to get on the way to beingfit and into a routine....

    Melissa

OMG...I wrote that out in public!

Bleurgh I feel fat now LOL! I have about 40kgs to lose!

Isabel and minimatron if you want to join in the email/text/msn harassing pm me for my details!

my biggest hurdle is work - the fact i work there (kfc), my work hours, times i do / dont get to eat at work, and currently its stressing me out. i finish management training this week so were hoping to swing back into the diet once i stop stressing about my certification tomorrow.

i own a crosstrainer but never have the time or energy to get on the damn thing so i need some kicking! i also always forget to eat breakfast which is ideal for metabolism.

Kellie I have your number hun Will message you maybe tomorrow (incase people are asleep there atm they are for you btw) so you have my number too incase you've lost it somehow

Mini & Isabel the more the merrier, thanks for joining us & good luck

cookie will your cross trainer fit in the lounge room? You may be able to squeeze in some time on it while watching your fav shows? I used one of those at the gym.... not as easy as it looks hey but feels so damn good after you've achieved the time you set out to do on it!

I'm heading to the gym tomorrow night, the kids will be having dinner with their dad at their grandparents place so I'm going to try to update my ipod & take that with me to get me going! Hoping to start a bit of a routine soon....
I've also started having porridge for breakfast instead of vegemite on toast & I quite enjoy the porridge, I thought I'd hate it
