Loss of 800g and 7cm this week - not too bad, especially all the junk I ate over the weekend. Birthdays and weight loss do not go together!

    Back on track this week!

Looking forward to this week's results, and welcome any newcomers .

Congratulations everyone! We've made it through another week and now it's been a whole month!

Big thanks to Krysalyss this week. If it wasn't for the 12 Week Challenge my week would have been a lot worse.

It was a bad week with SIL's birthday (and Gooey Chocolate Stack cake) then my Dad came to visit (takeaway Turkish). My opportunities to exercise were limited, but I must've still done a lot of walking pushing DS1 with DS2 in the sling, 'cause I still managed to lose 1.4kg and some cms. Even though I ate naughty food I didn't have the huge servings I normally would, so smaller portions seem to be the key. I also had 2 other exciting milestones this week: I got to my goal weight on Wii Fit 2 days before my deadline (goal was set back in January, time to set a new goal!) and I bought jeans in a size that I haven't worn for at least 10 years (and they fit perfectly). Whoot!

    Welcome Fuzzywuzzy and Hannanat!

Erybery - Don't worry, I also didn't have much of a loss the first week.

Eluned - Hope you have a better week this week. It's so much easier when the temptation isn't there.

Congratulations for everyone with losses and for those of us who had bad weeks I hope this week is better!

Hi Girls - well done to everyone who's had weight losses!

Hi Erybery - don't be upset at your small loss, 3cms is fantastic and the measurements are more important then the kgs so don't concentrate on the scales as much!

I had a naughty weekend, went down to our holiday farmhouse with friends and all I did was eat eat eat lol.....I did a sneaky weigh in Friday morning before we left and was excited as I was 1 kg down (after the gain the week before) but managed to put a little on over the weekend as expected! I did however only put on 300 grams over the weekend so was very happy with that in hindsight - I wanted to not worry and enjoy myself. So, tecnically I'm still recording a 700 gram loss....no cms this week though, didn't drink enough water!!!

Well, this is a new week so let's go for it girls, we can do it! Just remember, it's better to lose it slowly as you're more likely to maintain it and keep it off!

How cold is it today! I am pshycing myself up for some treadmill tonight in my lounge room. I figure it will warm me up and be good for the weight loss. I have been fantastic with my food today. I really think preparation is key as that has kept me going today.

Oh dear! I have been so bad this past week I am too scared to weigh and measure Will do it in the morning but I can see that my waist has expanded. I need to be more motivated especially because I want to wear my wedding dress again for our 5th wedding anniversary party this year. Give the baby one last spin

Sorry girls, but I'm bowing out - my mindset is not there yet to lose weight and I'm not making it a priority and things just aren't working for me too much happening at school and not enough time to do it and DS is not being hugely cooperative overnight - waking most nights around 2hourly so too tired to think about exercise etc - sleep wins out over anything else much atm. (will probably head off within the hour to bed after sorting out his bottles from today and getting his milk ready for tomorrow)

Welcome to week five of the BB mid-2010 weight loss challenge. The total challenge is 12 weeks long but split into 1 month periods so you can commit to one month, two months or the whole lot.

    1. Get motivated and have a plan!
    2. Get yourselves your bathroom scales and tape measure ready!
    3. Start eating healthily and taking more exercise

Sorry I have been MIA lately - I hurt my back last week and have been in absolute agony. I finally got in to see the physio last night and he fixed me so I am back in the game but I think the week off has undone all my good work. Oh well back on the bandwagon.

Well done on the great reults everyone - you are doing so well!!

Hi girls! Well onto month two. Am doing ok this week but went away on the weekend and that always makes it hard. Did some interval jogging yesterday and rolled my ankle a little on some uneven ground but hoping it pulls up ok. Will ride the bike today instead of jogging to give it a break.
ZF - sorry! Have added you in now. It is because I copied the list from last week and edited.

Ok ladies, I'm going to have to bow out gracefully! I was kidding myself to think I might be able to keep going I think! BUT I will be hanging around to cheer you all on!! I am still making an effort to eat well and exercise, but the weight loss thing is on hold. Give me 10ish months or so and I will be back, lol!

GO girls, you can do it!!

Well the start of month two started worse than the start of month 1 for me.

Made an effort the last tow days with exercise but before that I was slack. Not tracking very well either. I think I will be mighty disappointed with the loss if there is one this week because I know i haven't put in the effort. Plus AF is on her way - i feel so bloated and carb demanding.

Had yummy burgers for dinner though all within my allowance - DD ate as much as me lol....DS is still on his frozen pea diet.

Righto we haven't had a weekly challenge for a while and it's very quiet in here. I'm trying to up me vege intake (to reach the 2 and 5 a day reccomendation). So throw some ideas out here How do you fit veges into your day.

I occasionally have avo and tomato on toast for brekkie
If i have boiled egg/scrambled egg I cook a tomato too
have been having crudites and lite dip for arvo tea
have been trying to have half my plate as veges for dinner (though we have vege meals 3-4nights so not too hard)

    Kim,

I'm loving celery with lite peanut butter or lite philly cheese, YUM!
Soups...though it's hot where you are isn't it?
I grate veggies into my meals if they're saucy, like into bolegnaise, cacciatore ect... I will grate anything I can into it- mushies, zuccinni, pumpkin, carrots, onions....
If you have mash with dinner, make it with pumpkin and sweet potato, lowers the GI too
If you have scrambled eggs/omlette for breaky add capsicum/mushies/corn kernals (hard for me to think of veggies for breaky though, it just doesn't go!!)
Veggie slice for morning/afternoon tea like a zucchinni slice

    HTH!
