    Hi Girls,

    Damn lost my post ~grrrr~

Well this week didn't turn out too bad. I was up nearly 2kg mid-week but this morning it was only a 200g gain.

Hubby was watching Masterchef tonight and suddenly started making pancakes! He never cooks. Never. Mind you, he didn't make me any pancakes. Which is OK, because it saved me from having to turn down a plate full, but I did scab a taste of his. They were pretty damn good!

Sterla - 3kg isn't so bad, you'll lose it again in no time

Alicia - Hop on the bandwagon, it's cruising by... (no pun intended)

    Hey strangers

Well I've been good on my diet for the last few days (yay, must be a record!) and been going to the gym, so hopefully I can stick to it more than I have been doing.

Lucky Sterla got to see my crazy hyena laughing tonight that not many people see - too many mental images of my shorts falling off whilst swimming and my big white butt floating to the top - had me in hysterics. My shorts didn't fall off, but it was the fact that they COULD have that got me giggling. *snort*

Anyhoo - I'm back on the wagon - so lets go!

One more week left. For those who have been keeping their motivation you are so close to finishing! For those (like me) who fell off the wagon it's time to think about your next plan of attack. Are you going to have an exercise aim like a half marathon, or join a new sport?

So guys only 1 week left. Although I have fallen off the wagon many times I am still hanging on to the wheel. I am still going to do a final weigh in next week so I know where I am up to and so I finish this challenge and face up to what I have or haven't done. I am also going to start training for a half marathon next year. The challenge will be that I find running kind of boring. But am going to look up some training plans to try and work one out for me. I have also mostly moved out of mum and dads house so now that DH is doing all of the cooking it is a lot healthier and we don't have as many snacks around our place to tempt me.
Anyway wishing you all a great last week

Hi Krysalyss - I'm so sorry I forgot to send you my results yesterday, didn't get on the PC until last night and was so tired I forgot. I've only lost 100 grams this past week and no change in the cms. I can't believe it's the last week, it reminds me of how disappointed I am in only losing half of the weight - I've had 12 weeks to lose 7 kgs which isn't that much is it, I've been very very slack! Can we start another challenge as this has actually made me more determined now! I want to try for another baby at the end of this year so I want to at least have my body back before I start all over again and if possible I'd like to be a little lighter and fitter than last time so I'm ahead already. Yesterday I started afresh and while I know I can't completely cut out my downfall which is chocolate - I managed when I did Weight Watchers a few years ago so everything in moderation. I bought a workout DVD by a lady called Tracy Anderson, she's a fitness guru to the stars and does a combo of dance, yoga and aerobic exercise, I lasted 45 minutes of an 80 minute workout yesterday and had to stop it was pretty intense, made me realise how unfit I am lol and next week I'm starting Zumba classes - someone has started them up 5 minutes from home so I have no excuse and I figured it gave me some "me time", they're on a Monday night at 7.30 pm, bub is in bed so why not! Also, I'm having meal replacement shakes for lunch - my cousin sells a product that's purely derived from fruits and vegetables, there's no saturated fats, caffeine, anything in them and best of all they're wheat free unlike the ones you buy in the chemist so I can have them. They're really yummy when you add fruit and a dollop of natural yoghurt - so they'll be my lunch as often as possible and we'll see if that helps. They are really filling and stop me from picking. I just find with a baby by the time she's had her lunch and gone to bed it's then around 1.30 pm and I can't be bothered getting lunch so I pick, usually on chips or chocolate etc. So hopefully this will stop that. Anyway, I've waffled on, I hope everyone has had a better 12 weeks than me and wish everyone all the best for their final week!

Hi Alison! Sounds like you have made some good plans. Makes me wonder if I should do a dance class. It does sound like a lot of fun and exercise boredom is a big problem for me.
I don't really want to run another 12 week challenge because I am finding it harder to get time. But if someone else wants to co-ordinate then that is fine I can send a spreadsheet as a template which works it out the % etc. for you. I may even join in as a participant.

You sound the same as me, workouts bore me so I thought a fun Zumba class would be different. My sister and some of my mums group friends are going to join with me, it's $10.00 a class and goes for an hour and another friend tried it last week and said it was a right laugh and she was knackered afterwards. Sounds like my kind of exercise, doesn't feel like exercise so much when you're having fun! I'd love to run a thread but I barely have time to get on these days, I have a 7 month old who is demanding more and more of my time lol. Good luck with everything and hope you find a Zumba class near by!

Thanks Kyrss for doing a wonderful job, I know I joined in late and have done a shocking job I thought I woul dbe really motivated but find little time and energy for myself at the moment..just so darn tired all the time..I may have been a little ambitious with the baby being 10 weeks old and the 4 other kids etc etc etc...I know its another excuse..I could have done better!!! I don't blame you for not wanting to do another challenge, well co-ordinate one but I also would be a willing participant if someone wanted to take up that challenge, anyway thanks again girls, my week is off to a shocker already I caught up with a friend who for the last few years has been a bit overweight and guess what she looks great and now I feel depressed..a bit sad really i should be happy for her..but the green eyed monster has bitten!!!!
    Must walk tomorrow...

Hey you guys! I haven't read the rest of the thread from where I left off...internet is frustratingly intermittent .
You all have some pretty neat results though!!
I have been exceedingly slack with very little exercise (though moving house with two small kids is a fair physical strain) and very bad with takeaways and extras. It was however lovely to finally get all my clothes out of storage and jeans that I could only just wear BEFORE I was pregnant with DD - fit!! I actually put them on by accident and nearly fainted THe jeans I wanted to fit comfortably are loose, so I have achieved what I wanted to.
I have yet to find the Wii, so will endeavour to find it for the last weigh in.

    Hi everyone,

Wondering how everyone went for their last week?
I finished the challenge off really well and pushed yourself really hard. I honestly cant believe how much my body shape is changing (for the better). DOnt get me wrong, I still ahve a long way to go but everything is becoming easier.
I can run now, I can walk with ease and not feel like I am about to pass out. I know I will get something in my size now and my big tummy is going away!!! I never thought it would, but it is, oh and I can feel my abs.
I still have at least another 14kg to go until I get to my goal (and then I hope to surpass that) and I only have 8weeks until my islandholiday so I have a lot of hard work still ahead so I will probably join the diet and weight loss support thread and I also write in my blog (which is in my sig)

Also wanted to say thank you to all of you for supporting me and each other. It means a lot and I hope that we can get those scales down even more to live healthier lives.

And to the beautiful Krysalyss who started this challenge...

I know that you didnt do as well as you wanted to on this challenge but by starting this challenge, you have helped me change my life for the better, to be a healthier person, a better mum, role model for my daughter and students at school. So much more but Thankyou so much.

    Thumbs up Congratulations Everyone!!!

    Hi Girls!

We did it!!! The end of our 12 Week Challenge is here! Congratulations to everyone on your weight loss and/or cms loss, big or small

This week was a loss of 700g. I was hoping to make a total 10kg for the whole challenge and thought I had 900g to lose this week. But I must've miscalculated somewhere, because this week's loss brings me to a total 11kg! Honestly, if it wasn't for this thread there were weeks that I just couldn't be bothered and would have thrown in the towel. I've pretty much reached my goal now, just need to keep exercising and eating healthy. So rather than do another 12 weeks, I think I'll join the diet and weight loss support thread.

So a big thanks to Krysalyss for keeping all our stats for us! I also did weigh ins for Calorie King, but it's much more motivating when you're posting your results to a real person and other people can see them. And a big thanks to everyone else on the Challenge and best wishes to those who are going to continue on!

BellaBambina - Wow! You have done so well! Isn't it amazing when you can exercise without killing yourself? Enjoy the changes to your body and I'm positive you'll reach your goal.

Hollo - Congrats on your weight loss, hope this week was a good one for you.

Kim - That's fantastic! Clothes are the best way to show you that you've changed your body for the better. I bet that was a shock, but a really good one Good luck for when you find the Wii and hop on it.

Alison - Sounds like you've put lots in place to make sure you get to your goal now. You'll be there in no time! Hope you have a good result this week Buddy.

Blackduckies - That's the beauty of these things, you can always get back on the wagon. Seeing a friend who's lost the weight is awsome motivation to get you started.

Krysalyss - Good luck for your final weigh in! Thank you thank you thank you again. I really appreciate the time you've been able to spare for collecting and posting our results. Hope you find a training plan to suit you and that you get to run your half marathon. Also hope that things are easier for you now that you've moved.
