    Hi girls,
I'm back!! We had a good time in Adelaide, though the heat was really bad! It was 45 degrees the day we flew in and didn't go below 40 during the day or 30 at night! SO so sooooo hot!! I feel for you girl who live there! I was glad to get home, even though it was still 33 degrees here! But a whole 10 degrees cooler! I didn't watch what I ate at all, but we did lots of walking and swimming. I haven't put on or lost, so yay!! But I am going to seriously commit myself now. I saw some of the photos that were taken from the wedding we went to and omgoodness, I'm so FAT! And frumpy, ugh!! Rather depressing, but it has given me new resolve!
Congrats to all of you with such wonderful results, you guys are doing sooo well!

Well done Kel, glad you didn't put on any. That is just great. Wow, 45 degrees, how hot is that! Glad I am not down there.

I have to cut back on alcohol, I have two glasses every night and although I am losing on WW, I just think I could lose more if I only drank a couple of times per week. I normally just fill up my glass halfway but I worked out it was 200ml every time! So that is 400ml per night and I didn't realise! That is like 7 points a night! That is 49 points per week!

I'm planning on a HUGE walk tonight. My hamstring seems to have sorted itself out - the fish oil helped immensely.

I went for a gorgeous walk last night - there was a lightning storm off in the distance and I spent the whole time looking at the sky - amazing!!!

Another big walk/jog tonight and super psyched for weigh in tomorrow!!!

This weight loss thing is SLOW. A loss is a loss though right?? Just a little bit disheartening when you work your butt off and not get a lot in return.

Weight loss this week was 300g with 4cm lost overall.

AmySarah - If you hang in there, I'll hang with you. I feel like I'm working so hard, but have nothing to show for it. I've actually got a gain this week, I think I'm really going to have to be more careful with what I'm eating.

I do a 40 min walk each morning, and we've got a lot of hills around here, so it's all up and down walking, try to move around lots through the day (I work with kids), I've even introduced dancing into our programming to try and get me more active - and it won't hurt them either. I try to get about half an hour on the wii fit of an evening, and my weight just goes up and down each day, but not down enough. I'd like to be able to walk of an evening too, just can't fit that one in around the family. I guess at some point it will get there, just wish it would hurry up and show an improvement. I need the encouragement.

Amy, alcohol is full of sugar, would it be one reason why you are not losing more weight? I have added up my wine points recently through the week and it is HEAPS! So I am only have one glass (150mL is standard) now and then! I know those pre-mix drinks are worse too. Beer is worse also but there are low carb ones. What do you drink? A loss is a loss though hun and I think you are doing great. Losing cm's is excellent too! Well done for a loss.

I lost nothing this week but did lost some cm's. This week will be better!

Hi girls, apologies for lack of personals, no excuses only laziness. Which probablly sums up my week!!!
This week we have had 40+ hot days, bushfires with a few klms of our house, know people who lost their homes and other who came oh soo close and I just feel really down and depressed. Maybe AF is going to rear her head (1st time since DD was born)?would'nt be helping how I feel.
I have'nt eaten anything really bad, but have'nt been as good as I should either, excerise was nilch until the end of the week where I had DH back on board to look after kids and cooler weather to get out in the evening. So some weight actually came off in the end, for a while it was'nt looking promising.......
DS starts kinder tomorrow, so on his 8.30am starts I will be putting the girls in the pram and taking advantage of the cooler start and being in town and a beautiful walking track around the wetlands and getting in an hour before I do anything else. Amazing how good that makes me feel, knowing that I am going to have something regular to do.
Crying and biggest loser definately can relate to that one, although these days loads of things make me cry *****But also feel inspired****
Is it just me or do the girls look now where near as big as the weights the scales show? maybe they are tall or something?
Congrats to the girls doing great to those who are'nt doing as well as they would like, don't know the answer but I hope all of a sudden it falls into place and the weight starts coming off again, good luck. I know for me excerise is the key, it used to be I could lose weight by cutting back in the food dept, but now it is getting out and moving it??? Older I guess

Well, I'm actually pretty happy with the fact that I'm back at my lightest weight I have ben since the challenge!! Yay! I started back at work yesterday, only for 4hrs, but my goodness, I was buggered! Working with 20 3-5yr olds is HARD work! No wonder I got fat when I finished working! It wasn't pg that made me fat I got fat AFTER I had my DD!
So I haven't lost any this week, but I have lost 2cm somehow?? Cool bananas!
Bring on next week, I'm gonna put in lots of effort to lost some this coming week!

Mollycat, you can do it babe! I have only lost about 2kgs and about 5cm (I think!) in the whole time of the challenge. They say the slower you lose it the better, so look on the bright side...it should be for long term! And by doing so much exercise, you might be putting on lots of muscle and burning lots of fat- muscle weighs more than fat. You're doing well! And changing positively, no matter wether you lose weight or not.

I drank quite a bit on the weekend and nothing during the week.

I usually have either vodka with cranberry juice or midori with lemonade.

I have been eating reasonably well - still no going over 1200 calories a day but I probably could be eating better, fresher foods. In this heat I have found that fruit and yogurt are my favourites and I will happily have this for breakfast and lunch. Seeing as I go for a walk in the evenings my dinner is usually something light.

I probably could push myself harder on my walks (1 hour a day) and I could step up my light weights even more. I haven't lost motivation yet - I'm still determined - but it's so hard when I'm not seeing results. I think once I get under 70kgs (currently 71.2) I will be more motivated because it will feel so close. I'm just finding it impossible to budge that kilo!! Is it only going to get harder??

Mollycat I'm with you all the way babe!! We can do it together - I'll hold your hand

    Good Luck today girls!
I quickly jumped on the scales this morning and looks like I've lost 200g but I haven't fed DS so my boobs are full and I need to go to the loo so hopefully I would have lost more after that Haven't done measurements yet.

DP & I are going out to dinner tonight and I'm really looking forward to it. We haven't been out since before DS was born so I'm going to enjoy everything I eat and not stress about eating bad. It's my night off!

Had a great pilates workout last night. The instructor had me doing advanced moves (I'm in a beginners class) so I'm definitely getting stronger again. I was in the advanced class before I got pregnant.

This morning I'm going to do a c25k (week 3) session on my cross trainer. I love doing my cross trainer because I can read at the same time and I'm reading Twilight atm. I get so engrossed in the book, the workout seems like nothing!

Amy - I don't think the midori is too bad but soft drink is loaded (you knew that right though I am sure), or do you have diet lemonade with it? I think it is great you had a loss though. I didn't and I know it is better to lose it slowly. OMG though I know what you mean, I wish I could lose 1kg per week every week, then I would definately be motivated to the extreme!!!

Laranna - my niece has all the books on Twilight, she is so addicted and I have heard they are excellent! I saw the movie last week. Holy cr*p is is awesome, Edward Cullen is a bit hot right now. What a great flick!! Have you seen it? Enjoy dinner tonight and enjoy your splurge!

Amysarah- Dont be so hard on yourself hun. Maybe you dont actually need to lose alot iykwim (from memory we were similar weights). You may be tall you may naturally have a bigger build etc. If you are eating well and exercising you should be proud of yourself no matter what. Just think of the health benefits of what you are doing rather than the No. on the scales. Hey maybe you are turning all your fat into muscle. For me i am losing weight and CM's but i havent toned a lot as my exercise has really dwindled since DH has been home.

I have lost another KG this week making it a 5.3kg loss in the 5wks i am very proud of myself and am starting to see the difference. They say 6kg is a dress size and my clothes are all getting on the bigger side which is great but not when i dont have the money for a new wardrobe iykwim.

Hang in there every one who is disappointed in there weigh ins. Last week i showed a 100g loss this week 1kg. Our bodies change so much hormonally that sometimes wk by wk can make it really hard to tell whats going on. Like i said to Amy if you are doing the right things you should be proud of yourself no matter what.

I am proud of you all

I am actually quite short (164cm) and I have a tiny frame. Even though I am 71.2 (which for some is their idea weight) on my tiny frame it means I have to try and squeeze into a size 14 pair of jeans. Before I stacked on this weight I was a size 10 and very healthy (in terms of BMI) so that is what I'm aiming for.

Oh ok hun i didnt mean to offend you in anyway just wanted to try and cheer you up a little. You are doing so well and putting in 110%. Do you mind me asking you your goal weight? I am similar height and started off at 74.2kg. I am now down to 68.9kg and my goal was to get to 64kg. I am still wearing my size 14's (and the odd bigger size12) though i am prob closer to a 12 now but i dont want to squeeze into a smaller size and then look bigger because of the bulging love handles etc. Wish i lived closer to you so i could tag along on your walks and exercise.

Oh I wasn't offended Hoody!!! Just clarifying!! LOL

My goal weight is 60kgs. It sounds like we are very similar - we'll see if I can work my butt off to catch up to you as my starting weight was 74kg too!

We can do it together in spirit - you don't have very long to go at all!!!

Hi girls just popping in really quickly as I started back teaching today and I am EXHAUSTED. I am not submitting weight/ measure this week as AF started today and I am bloated and heavier and just feel generally gross.
I am getting really frustrated because even though I have lost heaps of cm's my weight is only fluctuating 2 kgs up and down (ie loose 2 gain 2, loose 2 gain 2) and it has been doing this for an entire 12 months now. It was great when I wasnt watching what I was eating and not doing any regular excercise because I wasnt gaining anything, but now I am putting in a HUGE amount of effort in watching what I eat as well as doing lots of excercise and still no change. I am going to make an appoinment with my GP and see if she can give me some tips to get my metabolism going- I am so determined to do it this year, so I am not going to let this get me down- just going to keep seeking out help untill I find something that works.
