    Cool Body Transformation Challenge - what did you eat today?

    Hi Ladies & Gents

    Thought I'd start this thread to chat in to support our diets during the challenge - I know my diet's pretty horrid and it helps me to diarise my food intake.

    Please feel free to discuss good & bad parts of our eating plans!




    To start off, yesterday I had (gulp!)

    - 2 glasses of water
    - 1 packet of almonds in chocolate
    - handful of crisps
    - grilled fish with chips for tea
    - 1 glass of wine
    - 600mls of water

    yesterday I tried to start TF but didn't have all I needed so only half did it.
    I was very bad and had no breakfast.

    2L water throughout the day
    2 decaf coffees
    1 lemon herbal tea
    chicken and mango salad with rocket and cashews for lunch
    1 apple
    1 chocolate TF shake for dinner

    mmm no where near enough vegies yesterday, I will be working on that today!

    So far I have had ... (wil update as the day goes on!!!)

    2x Coffee with milk & 2 sugars..
    1 bowl all bran cereal with milk
    3x rice crackers
    handful peanuts, rasins, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds & choc chips
    Lunch:
    6x corn thins
    Cup of tea - milk, no sugar.
    Water
    Dinner:
    2x sizzler sausages BBQd
    1 potato chipped & BBQd
    2x beer... oops!!!

    Today so far ...

    * handful of grapes
    * handful of hot chips
    * half a grilled fillet of barramundi
    * large handful of watermelon cubes
    * 600mls solo
    * 1 glass water
    * 1 cup coffee
    * 2x600ml water

    Yesterday:

    KM Shake
    Diet Yogurt
    KM Shake
    Carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes & snow peas as snacks
    Steak and salad for dinner
    1 banana

    2 filter coffees with a dash of milk
    2.5l of water

    (Has a smug day yesterday............)

    so far
    TF shake for breakfast heated (hot espresso, yum!)
    2 decaf coffees
    2L water
    1 lemon herbal tea
    TF asian curry soup for lunch
    1 apple
    dinner will be balsamic chicken with mushrooms and steamed vegies
    probably another apple and maybe some diet jelly.

    detox headaches appear over and I'm stil not feeling hungry, yay!

    600ml water
    A piece of toast
    A chicken caeser foccacia
    600ml bottle of coke

    OK here goes:

    2 weetbix and milk
    sausage casserole with rice
    1 nectarine
    lots of water
    4 scorched almonds (only 2 points!)
    for dinner - tuna salad with white beans

    Today:

    2 coffees
    2.8l of water (and still going......it has been easy today as it is hot)
    1 KM Shake
    1 Apricot
    I KM Shake
    1 diet yogurt
    Chicken breast marinaded in lemon and herbs and salad with pinenuts

    Brekky
    200g diet yoghurt with passionfruit.
    4 apricots.

    Lunch
    Did I have lunch??? oops, think I forgot

    Snack.
    I stick cheese and a tomato.

    Dinner
    Grilled fish, salad, and a potato scallop
    Low fat chocolate ice cream

    Not the greatest start, but tomorrow will be better.
    Need to drink more water.

    I am going to admit what I ate tomorrow LOL I was doing really well today until DD came home from QLD and bought me some butterscotch popcorn!!! (I only ate about 1 cup but its very naughty )
    Have been trying to drink a glass of water every time I feel like a snack which seems to be helping.

    today was:

    375ml of water some time between 4am and 6am

    Breakfast
    bowl of cereal - organic muesli mix that we've made up from the organic shop
    with about 200ml of organic milk
    1 banana
    cup of organic freshly brewed coffee with splash of milk

    Mid-morning
    cup of coffee
    600ml water

    Lunch
    ok I was bad - I went to the pub for lunch, I had a steak sandwich with side salad (no dressing because I've got a canola intolerance) & 1 glass of wine
    600ml water

    Afternoon tea
    2 sandwich sized vita-wheat (we've run out of bread - I need to bake some more)
    small bowl of air-popped popcorn
    mug of green tea (no milk)

    Dinner
    bowl of rice pasta, with a sauce made of 2 tomatoes (chopped), garlic, chilli, oregano, basil, with squash, tossed and lightly sprinkled with some goats milk cheese

    Now I'm about to go and make a mug of peppermint tea (I only finished eating about 30 mins ago). While my tea is brewing I've just eaten a handful of cherries from the fridge.

    Will drink another 600ml of water before bed, put a new bottle of water next to the bed.

    Gosh Kazbah...

    I nearly died when I read your first menu. I thought "how is she ever going to lose weight if she eats like that?"...

    But then I read your second menu - and it was a HUGE improvement. Good on you.

    After working at WW for years.. there is one thing I have really noticed...
    People who don't eat enough food - don't lose weight.

    Members would start off eating all their points value and losing weight. Then there comes a time when the weight loss slows down... so people think "I'll stop eating so much food". But that would have the opposite effect. Sometimes they would gain weight instead!

    Your body needs a certain amount of food. Ideally nutrient food. It needs it for energy and metabolism.

    So losing weight shouldn't be about depriving yourself of food. It should be about increasing your nutritious food and cutting down/out the junk food.
    It's about increasing your metabolism... which means giving your body the energy it needs - and increasing your exercise/activity.

    Nat... have to review your eating habits!

    I am back in the swing of things today:

    175gr plain non fat yougurt *

    Salada x 2 *

    Tuna salad ( for lunch)

    2 apples

    Grilled Chicken and mushroom

    4 litres water

    The day is young but at least my body isnt craving sugar anymore

    Today so far... (remember i am a few hours ahead LOL)..

    1 pc fruit toast with little marge
    3x cup of tea, little milk no sugar
    Handful, nut & raisin mix
    Large handful potato chips... my one big downfall... not buying anymore DH can get his own LOL.
    On 3rd 750ml bottle of water... hot days makes it easier
    2x choc chip biccies
    1 apple

    Dinner will be ham steak on bbq with pineapple & salad with spuds cooked on bbq ...

    well...i planned to go for a big one hour walk today but it's 38 degrees so i'm staying inside in front of the air con....
