They aren't doing a purchased detox. Just a diet related one, like juice days, soups etc. I just wasn't sure if they would not give me enough nutrients for breastfeeding or not and if it would tax my body too much trying to exercise, detox and breastfeed.
From what I'd read from health professionals a good detox is about easing up on our kidneys and liver from bad diets. They get sluggish and stressed out and sometimes it's good to give them a rest and good flush out. Is this wrong?

. The detox thing doing the rounds seems to be pretty big atm and there are a gazillion products on the market and it seems like every second person is doing it. I think if you kept it simple and ate whole foods and minimised processed foods then you can't go wrong. What you've read is always what I've thought about it too - that's why we don't need any scammy detox supplements because our body does it for us if we back off the crappy food.
